Have been a pt. at Suncoast Skin for a couple years- and I recommend 100 percent. Just recently, I needed to see another Mohs surgeon due to timing of my skin face cancer. I saw Dr. Castner. I simply cannot say how impressed I was, and what a team they are. Amazing. Dr. Castner took his time in explaining the procedure, was very precise, deliberate, knowledgable and kind. His assistants , Brianna and Kristy, who work consistently with him at the few different locations he serves in Suncoast- made this a well oiled machine! They conveyed an upbeat confidence, and very real knowledge. All of the Dr.s and staff throughout Suncoast Skin have been great. That’s a big blanket statement ,but true. But wanted to thank this latest team for their exceptional work- from a grateful, just retired, health care worker whose filter is gone, and can tell it LIKE IT IS! Much appreciate

I was looking for a new Dermatologist due to some precancerous spots on my face and also because I was way overdue for a full body exam. I was hoping to get a quick appointment but figured it would take 2 to 3 weeks (or longer) as is the case with most doctor’s offices. After doing some research, I called Suncoast Skin Solutions and to my surprise they were able to see me 2 days later!! I saw Dr. Martin Burke and what a remarkable Doctor. He was very thorough and took time discussing my issues. Turns out after the biopsy he took, Pathology showed a skin cancer on my sternum. I went the following week and he surgically removed the cancer. He was gentle, efficient and professional. He has a fun personality and a rare talent for putting his patients at ease. I am so happy I found him and highly recommend him. Also, the office receptionists are very friendly and nice. Thank you Suncoast Skins Solutions!!

Martin Burke and the staff are the most dope group of people I have ever encountered in an office setting. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with beautiful smiles from two amazing ladies at the front. When you are called back, the attention and concern shown for whatever you are experiencing confirms it will be taken care of. Then BOOM, In walks Martin Burke, with his knowledge, care, and treatment…..not to mention his cool vibe! Upon checking out, you are greeted with yet another beautiful smiling face who schedules your follow up appointment. This office is simply amazing, and is the epitome of professionalism, genuine care, and authenticity.

My experience with Suncoast Skin was a 10/10 from start to finish. From scheduling the appointment to the pre-check-in process, everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. This was my first visit to Suncoast Skin, and I scheduled an appointment with Martin Burke, PA-C based on a family member’s great experience and I’m so glad I did. Martin has an excellent bedside manner, took his time with me, truly listened to my concerns, and thoroughly explained all of my options. He is both personable and extremely knowledgeable. At other dermatology practices I’ve been to, I’ve often felt rushed, unheard, and like the focus was more on volume than patient care. That was absolutely not the case here. Suncoast Skin makes you feel respected, valued, and like your time and concerns genuinely matter. I never felt like "just another patient," which is rare these days. If you’re looking for a dermatology practice that actually listens and provides thoughtful, patient-centered care, look no further. Highly recommend!

This was the most thorough exam I have ever had from a dermatologist. This is the 1st time at a dermatologist that I did not feel like it was rushed. Dr Lockwood was very personable and took time to ask if I had any specific areas of concern as well as explained in detail what my options were regarding each. All issues were able to be taken care of within that visit. Great job earning my confidence in a dermatologist. Thank you.

Dr Martin is absolutely amazing! He has the best bed side manners of any doctor I have EVER met! Made us feel safe and welcome the whole time! He’s very compassionate and very caring

Dr Lockwood is terrific! We drove an hour and a half for our appointment (my husband sees him as well) as he left the practice that was closer to our home. Highly recommend.
