I will never forget Howard, an RN at the University of Colorado Anschutz, who once told me that in all of his 50 years practicing in dermatology, he had never encountered a resident as kind, patient-oriented, and selfless as Dr. Boyers—someone who always went above and beyond for every patient, no matter what was required.
