I have had the pleasure of being a patient here for over 2 years now. Dr. Borton is amazing. She has been such a huge push in advocating for myself and in helping me get better. She has surrounded herself with a kind and caring staff and I am so glad I made that first appointment. As a special note, Alex is such a wonderful human being. Your problems matter and he makes you feel heard, valued, and cared about.

An acquaintance told me yes, she’s MEAN and has no bedside manner but she’s really good at what she does. Hmmm…she’s a dermatologist, not a brain surgeon. There are plenty of dermatologists in Boise who are really good at their jobs and are also decent human beings with good moral compasses. And when is it ever acceptable to be nasty and hostile towards other people in a professional environment? A doctor should to be kind, empathetic and compassionate towards others. Therefore, I would never recommend Lindie Borton to anyone looking for a skin care specialist.

The entire staff have been terrific every time. Extended family also go to Sun Valley Skin Center based on our recommendation.

If I could give this practice a negative rating, I would. I hoped to be a new patient but I was refused treatment by Katy Jones, PA, and the practice manager. Ms. Jones told me that I was hostile. I didn't want my photo in their database. Apparently, that's a hostile act. She ended every statement with "okay". I said it isn't okay. If you weren't going to see me, then you should have called me instead of wasting my time. Ms. Jones looked as though she was fresh out of school. I guess that's what is taught these days. Process over healthcare. The practice manager had his panties in a bunch because I requested that he book the appointment and I would bring my patient records before then. I said could we do the two tasks in parallel instead of sequential. By his demeanor, I could tell that he was so ticked that I would not comply. (And I'm hostile!) I will send a letter to the doctor about this situation. Doctors and their staff should prioritize healthcare over process. Seems that isn't the case these days.

Berates her patients. I guess I've managed to escape this side of her until last week, but listen to the other negative reviews. She made me cry after a misunderstanding for the purpose of my 6 month follow up appointment. If you question her, she becomes extremely agitated and aggressive. I will never go back. Horrible patient care, she lacks empathy entirely if you do not follow exactly what she demands. Do not question, do not advocate for yourself. If you are fine with this, you are a great fit to see Dr.Borton.

I have been going here for several years now. As a practice, they have been incredibly responsive, prompt and respectful. If your appointment is at 10 am, they see you at 10 am. Dr. Borton I trust implicitly -- she is professional and thorough and reassuring. I cannot relate to comments suggesting any pressure for procedures (and not b/c I have flawless skin!). I recommend Dr. Borton to everyone.

Dr. Borton Is the best dermatologist I have ever come across. I have struggled with acne all my life, and she is the only doctor to cure my skin. Her staff is amazing and I always feel so welcomed when I arrive there.
