Wow, an absolutely outstanding consultation experience! Dr. John took his time and was incredibly thorough, explaining every available option and why certain treatments would be a better fit for my specific condition and hair type. There was no pressure or sales pitch—just genuine, expert care. It’s refreshing to receive such personalized service right here in southern Idaho. To my knowledge, this is the only hair transplant facility in Boise that performs procedures locally, which makes it even more convenient and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

I got a hair transplant at Mountain Man and it was a 10/10 experience. Dr. John was very thorough and talked me through any questions and or concerns I may have had. He also explained things to me in terms I could understand and explained the root causes of my hair loss and gave me a better understanding. The staff was all around amazing and the procedure and healing was a breeze. I’m currently in the 3 month grow out phase but I love seeing all the new growth and I’m so excited how much better it will look in a few months. If you’re worried about taking the jump, do it. I can’t thank Dr. John and his staff enough!

Just go. I had an excellent experience w/ Dr. McRae and his staff. He answered all my generic questions and specific questions to myself. I followed his instructions pre- & post-procedure and got amazing results. The procedure itself went well and I felt safe and comfortable. Everyone was very accommodating. My confidence boosted and I love how my hair looks. I've gotten plenty of compliments. So just go. The only thing you'll just regret is not seeing him sooner.

Dr. John was extremely helpful answering all my hair loss questions. I don't personally need a transplant with the level of recession I am at, but he helped to educate me on the tools and prescription medications that can help slow, stop, and even recover some of the hair loss I've been experiencing. He walked me through everything and was able to show me some of his other clients before and after results. Overall it was a great experience!
