Novice Group Dermatology

Dr Fred Novice and his great staff are wonderful and very compassionate. They really care about their patients. He has 2 daughters in the practice and that make 3 great doctors. Cannot say enough great things about this fantastic office

I was originally referred to Novice Group Dermatology for ongoing care by U of M after treatment for an early stage melanoma. Since then, I’ve visited the office at least twice yearly (for over 10 years) for skin checks & some aesthetic services. I’ve also had no problem getting in timely for other concerns between regular appointments. My experience has always been good from checking in to checking out. All team members have been professional, friendly, informative kind, caring & warm, working very well as a team. This is a practice with father, Dr. Fred & daughters Dr. Karlee & Dr. Taylor & Nurse Practitioner Erin, along with other nurses. All medical professionals have provided excellent care in my experience. I highly recommend this practice.

I'd long ago given up my decades-long battle with spider veins in my legs until I happened to mention it to Dr. Karlee and she told me about Kristi and her highly-effective sclerotherapy procedure. The transformation has been incredible and Kristi's enthusiasm and thoughtfulness make it a breeze! I cannot recommend her highly enough ... or be happier with the results of her treatments! 🙂 The Novice Group is an exceptional dermatology practice. Not only do they provide outstanding services, but the doctors, staff, and overall atmosphere are warm, welcoming and attentive ... you're immediately put at ease. I had my first visit today with Dr. Taylor and everyone was so kind and helpful. I expressed frustration over a prior appointment at a different derm office, and she really went above and beyond to help me. I had a few issues to discuss today (as well as a general skin check) and Dr. Taylor thoroughly addressed everything in 1 appointment. She even went out of her way to bring Dr. Karlee in for another opinion on my scalp issue, which I appreciated. Dermatologists are so busy in general, but they did not make me feel rushed at all 😊 Everyone in the office was so friendly, too! Thanks ladies!

This office is exceptionally well run, and the staff is outstanding. Kristina and Talia are always friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable—they truly make every visit a pleasant experience. Lynne is a trusted practitioner who thoughtfully customizes treatments based on each patient’s individual needs. I’ve been a patient here for over five years, and I highly recommend the doctors and the entire team. They genuinely care about their patients, and it shows in everything they do.

Had an appointment on Jan 14th 2026. Worst snow storm of the winter so far. What should have been a 20 to 25 min drive took me 2 hours. I called the office when I realized I wasn't going to get there on time. I had no idea I would be 1 hour plus late. Dr. K and 1 staff member stayed unit I arrived. Dr.K did the appointment just like I had arrived on time. That was the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a very long time. Thank you so much Ladies, You're the best.

Today was my very first appointment at Novice Group Dermatology and it was with Dr. Karlee. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the very cheerful reception team and asked to fill out the "new patient" forms. Although the waiting room was pretty full, I did not have to wait very long before being guided to the exam room. Once in the exam room I was greeted by Jacqueline who went over my dermatological history and the reason for today's visit. Jacqueline is an absolute sweetheart and extremely professional and efficient! Upon meeting with Dr. Karlee and her assistant, we went over the main reason for my visit. Dr Karlee performed a thorough exam and they did a few more procedures before releasing me. The Novice Group's reception team, Jacqueline, Dr. Karlee and her assistant, and all of the office staff that I interacted with today were ALL very efficient, professional and delightful! If you're in need of excellent Dermatology care I highly recommend the Novice Dermatology Group! A great big thank you to everyone there at the Novice Group!!
