I first became aware of the unusual appearance of my older sister's cheek when I noticed a dark mark on it. I convinced her to see a doctor and we found Dr. Hazany at the Scar Healing Institute after doing some research online. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed warmly by Beth, who was so helpful in making us comfortable right away. Kali took us to our room and was so caring and genuine about everything. It was actually so easy to talk with her. The moment Dr. Hazany walked in to greet us, I was blown away at how positive he was compared to all the other doctors I've met. He diagnosed my sister with basal cell carcinoma and had a plan of action that he was confident would work with great success. The procedure to remove the cancer was Mohs surgery, which Dr. Hazany performed. We were so impressed with Dr. Hazany's skill and how well he communicated with my sister and with our family during the procedure. He took the time to explain each step of the procedure to her to make sure she was comfortable and to show our family how much he really cared about us. I’ve struggled with acne scars for years and the scar healing institute was the only place that could help me. I have been to at least 4 other dermatologists now who have told me that my scars would be fixed with things like microneedling and peels but they never worked. Being located in Beverly Hills, I figured this place had to be the real deal. Dr. Hazany and Sarah are scar revision specialists. At our consultation, they provided me with so much information about all of the possible treatments and surgeries they do from things like subcision, CROSS or chemical reconstruction, excision, and sculptra. Other things that were mentioned were things like their newest lasers, dermabrasion, PRP or PRF to push the results further. There was a lot to take in, but they made it easy for me by first doing a complete and detailed analysis of my scars in different lighting and positions. Then, I was given a specialized plan that included various of the above treatments that was timed and spaced out by them based on my personal healing. I loved that they had a virtual option to meet them first before traveling from out of state. It’s been 6 months now and I would say that there has been 90-95% improvement. My cheeks, forehead, and temples are pretty much fully smooth. Needless to say, the scar healing institute definitely underpromises and overdelivers (the opposite of every other place I’ve been to). I have been so self conscious for years but I feel like I have my life back. They are world class experts, the best dermatologists, and worth everything.

Highly recommend Dr. Hazany’s office! The staff and providers are incredibly kind. Everyone is always so helpful. Appointments are quick and efficient, and I never have to wait long. The space is extremely clean, and I always feel well taken care of. What I appreciate most is how knowledgeable the providers are. They take the time to explain things clearly, offer gentle healing options when possible, and never make me feel pressured into any services. Highly recommend!

Came in bumpy came out smooth. The only thing slicker than how I feel is Doctor Hazany's technique: I didn't feel a thing. The PA Sarah is so, SO professional. She was so EMPATHETIC and I felt like she really cared about my experience. Keef is the sweetest: you can tell he really wants to take care of people. Annie has an incredible bedside manner, something truly lacking in the medical field. TLDR if you need something looked at/taken care of this is the place. They are the utmost professional organization of its kind.
