Epiphany Dermatology (formerly Sona Dermatology)

This was my 3rd appointment with Dr Tu and it was as thorough and professional as I expected. This was a full body scan and he described what he found and whether there was anything I needed to do. He is an outstanding clinician. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Iyer for many years. She was originally at a Johns Hopkins facility in MD, but when she moved (and every time she moved) I followed her to her new office. She is a wonderful doctor- kind, caring, professional, thorough and competent. I will continue to see her for my full body checks as long as she is remotely within driving distance. I drive about an hour to see her now. Would recommend her to anyone seeking a dermatologist. Recently, my husband required a Mohs surgery to remove a cancerous skin lesion. Dr. Iyer does not perform Mohs, so he was referred to Dr. Yu, also at Epiphany. The process could not have been handled better. Dr. Yu was a pleasure to deal with. He performed the surgery adeptly and well while being quite pleasant to speak with during the process. He also did me a small favor while we were there that he didn't have to do, which I greatly appreciated. All around, I am very pleased with the care we receive at Epiphany.

My appointment with this establishment was scheduled for 2:00 PM—as clearly shown in the image. I arrived at 1:47 PM and checked in at the front desk, only to be told that my appointment was at 2:45 PM with no explanation. I had to leave work to be here, only to find out that they changed the time of my appointment without notifying me at all. I get paid hourly, and because of this establishment’s incompetence, I lost an entire hour of my workday. This isn’t just unprofessional—it’s disrespectful. I genuinely feel sorry for the management of this establishment. For this level of disorganization and disregard for customers’ time, I will never spend a single dime here.

They are professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I’m thankful that I found a doctor who listens and cares. I feel my concerns were addressed/resolved. Nashida Beckett and her assistant were awesome! I highly recommend!

For my first experience at this practice/location, I'm not impressed. Front desk receptionist, Amanda, was rude and had a sarcastic comment in reply to all of my questions, which is ironic because I was helping her do her job effectively because she never charged me for my copay. It was only when I was checking out that I found this odd and when I raised this concern to her - surprise - more attitude. I won't be returning to this practice. Dr. Beckett was also very aloof acting, like she didn't understand the reason for my visit (new patient). Overall, I'll keep searching for a Black female derm elsewhere.

I have always been treated with the utmost respect and care. Dr. Beckett and her staff are very kind and thorough. They listen to all my concerns. I have been going to this pra tice for years. Dr. Yui is an excellent surgeon. Many members of my family have been treated here.

Dr. Joseph Lee is outstanding. He has a great deal of expertise plus perspective, and has a honest and helpful clinical manner. I appreciate the high quality care he provides.
