Dermatology at PeaceHealth Cordata South Clinic

I had been seeing Dr. Hopkins for a few years. I got the call she was no longer with Peace Health, and that no other doctor could take me on as a new patient. The reason I gave them 1 star is lack of communication and the unwillingness to do what they can to ease a transition. I’ve been on a medication ever since I started with Dr. Hopkins. I would assume given the last minute notification, and me being on the medication for 2+ years, they’d be willing to write a final prescription to hold me over until I found a new Dermatologist. They, of all people, know how difficult it is to find a good dermatologist who is accepting new patients, but they didn’t and do not care. Such a disappointment. I highly doubt this is the first time a doc has left PeaceHealth. If PeaceHealth dermatology strived to provide the best, there should have already been steps in place to mediate the cancellation of patients knowing that some of the patients have been seeing the same doc for years. You can see in my charts what I have been on consistently, with no side effects. I don’t see why a currently employed dermatologist couldn’t review that and approve a prescription. I just hope for future loss of docs you allow patients more time or the very least fill prescriptions to hold them over until they find a new dermatologist.

I didn’t think Dr Lyons was such a great doctor so I say no big loss. Now the endocrinologist has left. Quite a lot of providers have left Prace Health. They had an allergy department they fired the allergists there and closed that department a while back. The one allergist I saw there was Dr Sally Neubrough, she’s a great doctor, I found out that she was at Optum on Squalicum so I continue to see her. I think that PeaceHealth. Is in trouble with not having enough providers, providers leaving, they even had a sign in the elevator I saw the last time I was there for providers and nurses. 🤔.

Peace Health? More like Peace Wealth. I am so sick of this organization letting go of solid provides and leaving their patients in the dust. They did this with asthma and allergy and now derm. Dr Hopkins and her team of RN and MAs were some of if not the best group of care providers I ever found. Dr. Hopkins was the first one to recommend treatment for a condition that nobody else ever bothered to educate themselves on and ask me what my questions were about it instead of me educating the provider. This is such a loss to the derm department, and they will never find somebody as good as her. 5/5 for Dr. Hopkins and how she changed my life. 0/5 for PH. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use. They are cancelling all of her and another derm doc they let go so forget even been seen by them anytime soon.

I wait 5 months for an initial dermatology appointment for Accutane. After I got my appointment, I did all the steps, got my iud, and got a call 3 days before I appointment to start the medication, notifying that the dermatologist I waited 5 months and met one time, quit. I don't have a doctor or get to start my intended medication until further notice. Do not recommend Peacehealth if you actually need help.

Dr Lee was amazing!! same with the nurses great experience.
