These reviews made me so nervous because I needed an appointment for my 9 year old daughter. It was super easy scheduling an appointment. We made an appointment for the following week. Arrived 15 minutes early for our 9 am appointment, and she was treated and checking out by 9:05. We saw Dr. Ferrer, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He addressed my daughter when talking about treatment options and was very thorough setting up expectations. He gave her full autonomy over her treatment plan, and encouraged her to advocate for herself and her pain levels. A girl literally couldn’t ask for a better doctor, and I’m so thankful he was the one taking care of her for her first, painful, doctor visit. He certainly set the expectation that your doctor should listen to your concerns, answer all of your questions, and be receptive to your pain. Even though freezing warts isn’t a walk in the park, she was very comfortable with him, and she’s not even a little bit scared to go back for the next round.
If your late for your appointment, don't worry they can get you in a month later, while your literally bleeding. No wonder why they have so many one star reviews, what's the excuse is everyone wrong? Worst experience with a dermatology clinic hands down, and I grew up in Denham Springs.
The receptionist light skin African -American woman that wears glasses AKA MRS.SUPERVISOR has a nasty rude attitude. The custom service is the worst. She doesn’t greet nor empathize with the customers. My small baby was was itching and crying due her severe eczema. She didn’t even check us in . I was there before all the people who got call to the back.I address my problem to her , she was very nonchalant and rude.So my baby & I left out the office. We will not be going back to this location. To Miss Lady at the back with the glasses behind the desk, if healthcare is NOT FOR YOU .FIND ANOTHER JOB!
I had an appointment for 9/22. I arrived 15 mins. early only to be told they sent a text on 8/28 to reschedule this appt. I never received any text, email or phone call from this office. I took off work on an overtime day. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule . After this office's total incompetence cost me a total of $468.85 before taxes ,I declined . I will never schedule another appt. with these people again knowing they wil probably do this to me again
I’ve spoken on the phone with Dr. Laci’s medical assistant, Jailyn, a couple times. She always has an attitude and a rude tone over the phone. I called about a prescription mistake that Dr. Laci had made. She prescribed me less tablets than what the directions on the bottle had. Therefore, I had to call back so she could prescribe the rest of the tablets. This is my first and probably last time coming here because of the customer service. Jailyn needs to be reevaluated for her job.
I was very disappointed today with my appointment. I saw Dr. Mary Dobson and though she was nice, the entire thing was very VERY rushed! I felt like she didn't have the time to talk with me about my Roscea and when I asked her for a new skin care brand and told her about the one I have been using she recommended the SAME one back to me. My Roscea messes with my self confidence so I was looking forward to getting some help and left feeling not listened to or valued.
Horrible place! They didn't deaden enough an area they were doing a biopsy on & it hurt so they had to deaden it more. Then the lab they used for the biopsy sample kept saying the tissue sample was "inflamed" so it might be questionably pre-cancerous (which Ifound out later it was NOT). It wouldn't have been inflamed had they not been rubbing on the skin so much with alcohol swabs because they didn't deaden it correctly the 1st time! Then their office girls billed things out incorrectly, charging way more than they should've. I caught them on their errors & had to call & make them fix it. Total nightmare experience from this clinic. The office manager is not helpful at all. The doctor herself seemed ok, but when you have to go thru all the muck of the office, billing, nurses, & lab issues, the doctor is not worth it when she's just ok. The doctor biopsied places she shouldn't have. Just terrible.
