From check-in to check-out, the patient experience is marvelous. Dr. Shah is by far the most knowledgeable and empathetic doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and receiving care from. He explains things at depth, follows up to ensure patient understanding, and has been a wonderful advocate behind the scenes regarding complex insurance matters. Even on visits where I’m unable to be seen by him due to scheduling conflicts, the other care providers here have been just as wonderful and thorough.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I also loved how Dr. Shah was easy to work with. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Although this was the first time I have met Dr. Shah, I felt like I have known him for a while. The staff members from the front desk to the back were kind and friendly. I felt very comfortable in this location and the staff.

I’ve been seeing Alexandria Associates in Dermatology for over 10 years. The office is always accommodating, professional, and efficient. Dr Bray is simply the best. Takes the time to listen, talk about the condition, and explains alternatives and options. Amazing bedside manner, technical skills, and knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice 100%.

Dr. Hou is wonderful. She is incredibly nice and comforting. She takes interest in learning about you and your family, which creates a strong trust and bond between patient and doctor. I never feel rushed and always receive the best treatment. Her suture skills are impressive and leaves almost invisible scars. I highly recommend Dr. Hou!

First, let me say that I think the best of Dr. Trevor Hansen. But, my last visit was absolutely terrible. In May, Dr. Hansen removed a lesion on my right shoulder, telling me that the stitches would dissolve in about 3 months. In October, after two months of pain from sutures above the skin and pressing on nerves, I asked for an appointment with Hansen to remove them. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that I would see a Medical Assistant (MA) and Hansen was on paternity leave. No call prior to warn me. Amanda calls my name in the waiting room and races down the hallway yelling back to me her name and she would take care of me. She wants to take photos, after I have already submitted photos days before my arrival. She takes a photo but never touches the site to really understand it just takes a bit of plucking to remove the offending suture. She asks me what my pain level is. I tell her it is situational. I do yoga every day and every day during yoga it causes level 10 pain. When I go for a massage, it causes my entire back to have uncontrollable spasms. Every day it catches on the fibers of my clothes and causes pain. She tells me that she can do nothing because she can’t see it on the photo. I say, that is unacceptable. So, she huffs out of the room to discuss with a doctor who says she doesn’t have the authority to pluck it out. She will call me back with an appointment with a doctor. She does call me back but I’m driving and can’t take the call. When I call back for two entire hours, I’m told they are at lunch. I GAVE up! Doctors take the Hippocratic oath to do no harm. No one, at this practice, in the absence of Hansen, cared a whit about their oath. Shame on them!

I decided to try a new dermatologist because this office was close to my home, and unfortunately, it was a big mistake. My sister and I have both struggled with eczema for years, hers being significantly more severe than mine. Due to repeated miscommunication between the staff and our insurance, we have been going back and forth with this office for over a month, and she still has not received the medication she discussed with her doctor. This delay is not due to our insurance. Instead, staff incorrectly stated that her eczema was "improving," which is completely untrue. If anything, her condition has worsened as a result of the stress and lack of coordination between the office and the doctor. We recently called again and were told that the doctor is out of the office, with no clear timeline for when the medication will be approved or sent. The lack of organization, accountability, and communication has been extremely frustrating, especially when dealing with a serious medical condition. If you have the option to choose another dermatologist in the area, I strongly recommend doing so. We will be canceling our future appointments with this office.

I've been a patient for over 3 years, get a skin check every 6 months. Everyone is respectful, attentive, competent from check in to check out. Dr Bray is the best, you get his full attention: thorough examinations, answers questions, explains treatments. A very professional shop.
