16th Street Dental Care

I've used this dentist for years, always did a good job. But, this time I went in for a cleaning and was very disappointed. Plaque still on the inside of my front lower teeth. He use to be a good dentist.

This Dentist is the BEST in all of Yuma Arizona. My mother, husband and myself have the honor of being patients of Dr. Kim for 7 years . As a patient here you feel safe and assured that you are in good hands This Dentist is Professional, Knowledgeable, Caring and EXCELLENT!!!! Even when COVID-19 was here, Dr. Kim was able to stay open for the hospital emergencies He is very very Qualified and sought after. I won't go to Mexico for my dental work, I know that Dr Kim is quality, saving a few pennies is not worth my life. The Radiology equipment is top of the line (Kind of funny because the XR machine also communicates and gives instructions) The wonderful front desk Lady, Alejandra is also EXCELLENT!!! She goes above and beyond to assist the patient with everything that is needed, is very Professional and Caring. I know that they do take certain insurance, we pay cash and are blessed with frequent discounts. I Highly Recommend this Place 🙂 PS I am sure that if you come here, you won't go anywhere else... YUMA IS LUCKY TO HAVE DR. KIM !!!

Here on vacation from Texas! Absolutely couldn’t ask for better care! Dr. Kim reattached a veneer that fell off a tooth that had broken apart completely! Here for Mother’s Day for my 81 year old mom and I wanted a front tooth for pictures 😊. A temporary fix until I got back to Houston …. he did so good I almost cried! I know it’s "vanity " to have a perfect smile and this wasn’t like life or death but it sure made me feel better ❤️‍🩹 The staff was wonderful! Thank you again Dr. Kim!!

Finally, a detail cleaning. I was very happy with how much time and effort was put into caring for my teeth and gums. Dr. Kim is wonderful he was able to work on my damaged nerve endings and fix my teeth without so much pain. He takes his time and checks to make sure he has it done right the first time. He also gives you the facts and helps you make the choice that is right for you. The office staff is wonderful and just makes you feel welcome. They also do a great job with your records and insurance. The place was also much cleaner than my last dentist office which was one of several reasons I changed. So glad I listened to my daughter and gave them a try.

I've only lived in Yuma a short time but have been to three dentists; I won't be going to another one. Dr. Schmidt and his team have been wonderful to work with. One of my favorite things about Dr. Schmidt is that he takes time to discuss what he's doing and why it's important. He makes sure to address my questions/concerns in a way that is NOT condescending, which is something I've experienced in other dental offices. Dr. Schmidt and his staff are professional, yet friendly and it feels good to be in their office.

I want to give this office 10 stars!! They are wonderful. My search for an awesome dentist in Yuma is over. Dr. Kim and his staff have met all my stringent criteria. The parking area is easy to get into and out of, with spaces large enough to park in. The waiting room is very clean, even the corners. The receptionist greets you when you walk in. I was called back by cheerful assistants, at my appointment time. Only once did I have to wait past my appointment time, and that was only 5 minutes. The treatment area is well set up. The room is large enough that I didn't feel claustrophobic. The Dr. and his assistant described and explained to me what they were doing and what would come next. It was refreshing that they did not carry on a conversation with each other over my head. I was more important than the latest Game of thrones episode. When I experienced discomfort he adjusted his approach. I never thought I'd actually find an office like this. Everyone seemed happy to be there, even people that were not interacting with patients were smiling. All of this and affordable too.

Dr Kim and his staff are the nicest people. Dr. Kim has always been nice to me and he is just a good decent man who does excellent dental work. His staff also does great work. I hope we live a long time in Yuma so I will always have a good dentist to go to. My wife and I are grateful to have him as a dentist.
