My son went to his first appointment and everything was OK. Not the cleanest or nicest but it was OK. Now I've called four times over the past couple weeks and not one phone call was returned. If no one ever answers the phone or calls you back, how does one reschedule an appointment? This company can't return a simple voicemail but I'm supposed to trust them with my child's teeth?
Horrible. Go to Melissa Padget . They NEVER answer the phone, NEVER return calls, office is very dirty. Walls, ceiling and floor are unacceptable. Staff is not friendly at all. We walked in and my daughter wanted to leave right away. Not to forget we waiting over a hour for our appointment and was never called back to be seen. AND we even arrived early to fill out paperwork. . Terrible experience and will NEVER recommend. Zero stars if it were possible.
The place is dirty. It seems the restrooms have never been cleaned. The floors look as if they have never been mopped, swept or vacuumed. The staff is very friendly. But, the doctor is not friendly with the kids. The chairs for the kids are falling apart and all lined up in one long room. Watching the doctor interact with the small boy ahead of my daughter was like something out of a nightmare. Held him down and shoved his fingers basically down his throat without so much as a hello. That poor boy will never trust a dentist. I didn't allow the Dr the chance to do that with my child. It's sad because the staff really is very friendly and patient. But, someone needs to clean the place and the doctor needs an attitude adjustment if he wants to work with small children on their first visit to the dentist. 0/10 would not recommend this place.
Not even one star! Very busy, not clean and not organized. Sometimes we had to wait forever and the most important this they ruined my 4 years old tooth! We found a place at Cuyahoga Falls, OH "ohio kids dental" me and my kids are so happy with them.
The wait time in the lobby is ridiculous, 1.5hours just waiting. The dental assistants were very sweet but when it came it the MD it was a joke. He didn’t care about the children, like he was annoyed. A little girl next to my son asked a question and he did that "yeah uh huh". That was my last straw. Nothing against the receptionists or the dental assistants. But Kannan is not for children. And the floors were so dirty.
Phones never get answered, and when you go into the establishment the girls at the desk are just sitting there. Phones never ring while there. They definitely disabled the phones ringers. If they don't want to be bothered with part for their job, they should get a calling center to handle their calls like other doctor offices, it better than being ignored! The establishment is definitely filthy. I don't think they have a cleaning crew, and if they do, it's to empty the trash cans at the end of the day. I don't think them floors ever met a broom or a mop. The bathrooms are always filthy. We go to the Burger King on the corner to use their restrooms if we can't hold it. The hygienist are very polite and work so well with special needs children. The dentist has always been amazing with all of my children. The woman who does the x-rays at the stations, she seems very shy and nervous around special needs children and rather walk away than try. Even with the parents offering to assist her and she rather leave the station. The people they have who comes in to do the dental work (fillings/caps/extractions). They are nice but they rush everything. My son's cap fell off and he was choking on the cap. I tried calling 37 times back to back. I ended up having to call a completely different dentist to get advice on what I should do. I then contacted the dental surgeon who put the cap on his tooth. I was told I had to deal with the Jamboree and then they are called if needed. She had to send them an email about me calling. The next day I got a call from Jamboree to set up an appointment. It was already 4 days of waiting at the time of setting the appointment. In total we have been waiting a little over a week. When the cap came off, so did the top portion of his tooth. He's not been in any pain, thankfully. But the cap falling off and him chocking on it is a little concerning. What if he has been asleep and it fell off?! I could have lost my baby! So yes, rightfully so I am livid.
After being rescheduled three times, all of which occurred on the same day as the appointments, throughout almost 15 months total, my children were FINALLY able to be seen at Jamboree Dental. The appointment was very quick and a follow up appointment to fill one cavity each, for two of my three children were made for FOUR MONTHS LATER. While leaving the office, a woman and her two kids were signing in and I could hear her and the receptionists conversation. She was telling her that the dental hygienist just left and that they would have to reschedule her. The woman was rightfully upset since school just started and she had to take her kids out (like I did) halfway through one of the first couple days of the year… just to find out that they were going to reschedule her. I’m assuming this is what happened with my three previous appointments that continuously got rescheduled. ALL OF THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND 100% UNPROFESSIONAL. Although I do love and adore the dentist there, (my oldest is 16 and has saw him since he was 2) along with loving the office administration. The BIGGEST FACTOR is that the hygienist(s) are able to walk out whenever they feel necessary. Which ultimately screws up the remainder of the days multiple families children’s appointments. This should have been addressed and dealt with as far as 15 months ago when I received the VERY FIRST of three ‘reschedule calls’. I’m sure farther back, but that’s as much as I personally have known.
