I recently had a wonderful experience at the West Dental office, and I would especially like to recognize Ms. Lady Guerrero. She was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Ms. Guerrero explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions patiently, and ensured that I understood each step of the process. Her gentle approach and positive attitude truly made a difference. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. A true gem of a dental office From the moment you walk in, you can feel how special this office is. The front desk staff is amazing, efficient, friendly, and always willing to help. They’re patient with scheduling, quick to follow up, and they genuinely go out of their way to make things easy. The dentist is outstanding: skilled, gentle, and so clear in explaining what’s going on and what your options are. I always feel heard, respected, and never rushed. What really sets this team apart is how caring and kind they are. They work with you, whether it’s timing, comfort, or treatment planning, and they do it with compassion. The office runs smoothly, waits are minimal, and everything feels clean and calm. I leave every appointment confident that I’m getting excellent care from people who truly value their patients. I cannot say enough wonderful things about West Dental at Ridge Hill! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by an atmosphere that feels welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. G is an outstanding dentist, thorough, attentive, and incredibly skilled. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, makes sure you are comfortable throughout your visit, and truly listens to your concerns. You never feel rushed, and his calm, confident manner really helps put patients at ease. Equally impressive is the front desk team, especially Elizabeth and Vianelys. They are thoughtful, flexible, and always go above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free. Whether it’s scheduling appointments, handling insurance questions, or communicating updates, they are professional, efficient, and always approachable. Their warmth and kindness make you feel like more than just a patient, you feel like part of their community. The practice overall is extremely communicative and accommodating. They work with your schedule, follow up promptly, and make it clear that patient comfort and satisfaction are their top priorities. Even small details, like the friendliness of their greetings, the clarity in billing, and their willingness to answer every question, make a huge difference. Every visit here has been a joy. Dental care can sometimes feel intimidating, but at West Dental, the entire team ensures you feel supported, respected, and cared for from start to finish. The dentist himself is great but the scheduling is atrocious and the people on the phone have an argumentative tone. Randomly received a text message that my appointment was rescheduled. Didn’t mind the date or time. Even called them to confirm I would be leaving work early to attend. Next morning, I receive a voicemail that my appointment has been cancelled. Called the office to verify the next availability that would align with my work schedule and see what had happened. The lady on the phone had an ATTITUDE while saying the hygienist did not come in. Understandable that things can happen, but it’s very unprofessional to have someone clear their schedule and then you tell them the DAY OF. Initially loved this place and even recommended it to one of my friends, but they also had a terrible experience with the front desk (and we BOTH do admin work in a hospital). Don’t expect your appointment to ever actually be confirmed. This has happened multiple times. There needs to be some reform with scheduling because this is ridiculous.

Everyone was very polite. The hygienist is very nice but to dental on the cleaning of the teeth. I felt she could have scraped deeper and cleaned harder. I know everyone is difference but this is what I’m use too. Overall this dentist office is a 4 star for now!

What I would say: I have no complaints about the dentist; he was very informative and made the crown procedure pleasant. However, I’m extremely disappointed with the front desk staff and supporting office staff. After my procedure, the dentist told me that if I felt any discomfort, I could come back. A week later, I returned on a Friday afternoon because I was feeling a lot of discomfort only to be informed that I couldn't just walk in since the Doctor was booked the entire day. I was told I needed an appointment to be seen. I agreed and was given an appointment for Tuesday at 12:30 PM. On Tuesday morning, I received a call offering me an earlier appointment at 9 AM. I explained that I couldn’t make it because I had arranged my work day around the 12:30 PM appointment. I was then told that the slot had been given to someone else since my concern wasn’t deemed an emergency. I was offered a 5 PM appointment instead. At this point, I expressed my frustration, noting that it was unacceptable to double-book my appointment and expect me to drop everything for the new slot. I stated that I would not be returning due to their unprofessionalism, especially after paying a significant deductible. My concerns yet to have been addressed!
