Cook Periodontics & Dental Implants

I just moved to NC from MA 2 weeks ago. I needed to have a cracked and infected tooth removed. I called Dr. Cook's office and Sarah fit me in for an appt. within 3 days for an evaluation. The day of my evaluation Cerrissa the dental assistant was amazing! She took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. She even used an analogy that helped ease my mind about how this could have happened. Dr. Cook came into meet me and explain what she saw on my X-ray and what needed to be done. Michelle then put me on their schedule for the next day at 8am. The day of the procedure went very well. Both Cerrissa and Roland were there with me to explain everything they were going to do. I was able to say hello to Dr. Cook and her very calm and professional demeanor is what I needed before I was given the sedation. I would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Cook and her staff are terrific. Dr. Cook herself is not only highly professional, but also a perfectionist and a very skilled surgeon. I previously had extensive dental work done in NYC by a supposedly well-known surgeon, which unfortunately resulted in multiple implant failures and subpar bone grafts. Dr. Cook had to clean up this very costly mess. Her thorough approach to both pre- and post-treatment made a significant difference in my recovery process. My experience with the office staff was nothing short of excellent. Dr. Cook’s dental assistant, Ariana, was terrific, as was my surgical coordinator, Michelle. You can feel confident knowing you’re in excellent hands—you won’t be disappointed.

No one wants to have to replace a bridge with implants!! But…. I must say Dr Cook and her terrific staff make it relatively simple with minimal discomfort. Michelle laid my financial plan out with clarity and very good communications. Arianna was beside me during the entire process assuring I was comfortable and checked in with me the following day to assure I was doing well. While I have several months to go before my bridge is completely replaced, so far I am very pleased with Dr Cook and her staff and will highly recommend her practice to my family and friends.

From my arrival, interaction with Cerrisa, then Roland and Dr Cook made my visit a pleasant one, even through the extraction! Totally professional experience! Michelle coordinated everything and fully explained, leaving no questions!

Just began my implant process with Dr. Cook, Ariana, Roland, Michelle and Shaun. As with my extraction months prior, everyone made the procedure easy, painless, and as pleasant as possible. Great staff and office!

Dr. Cook and her staff are best!! I wasn't excited about having bone graph surgery but it wasn't difficult at all (for me the patient). She is a great dental surgeon.

I was in need of extensive periodontal work and interviewed a few Drs. in both the Wilmington and Raleigh areas. I chose Dr. Cook as I felt the most confident with her knowledge of what needs to be done, how to perform it, and in her team. I first met Heather, her new patient coordinator over the phone, Roland, part of her clinical team in making me feel at ease while first "in the chair", and answering all of my concerns before surgery and going over the extensive post op instructions. Sarah helped with the pre-op instructions and post-op soft food diet. Dr. Cook's surgery team is top notch: Michelle, the surgical coordinator was always available to answer my concerns, and Arianna, Dr. Cook's dental assistant, who had a very comforting touch during the surgery. The day after, I had zero pain, which I could not believe since I had so much done. I had some discomfort, but that is all. This was a big decision for me, who to perform this work, (I only had 2 cavities in my life) and I know I made the right choice in choosing Dr. Deana Cook, DDS, MS.
