I’ve always been terrified of going to the dentist, and I walked in feeling anxious. That changed almost immediately thanks to the incredible hygiene team Angela, Katie, and Leigh. They made me feel safe, cared for, and completely at ease. They explained everything, reassured me, and showed so much patience and kindness. For the first time, I felt calm and confident I was in great hands. This was hands down the best dental cleaning I’ve ever had. I live 3 hours away and would gladly drive to Wilmington just to be cared for by these amazing women again. They truly change how people feel, and this office is so lucky to have them. Thank you all I’m beyond grateful. ❤️

Highly recommend Dr. Alex Hicks! He did an amazing job fixing a filling that my kid knocked out recently. It looks better than the last filling! He was very communicative, fast, and painless (no numbing needed). Thank you Dr. Hicks!

NEW patients BEWARE. My husband was charged $2500 for 3 visits. I found out that the office was a "non-participating practice" for my Delta Dental insurance when I received my bill. No sign posted at receptionist desk that their office was a "non-participating" office. I also handed the receptionist my Delta Dental insurance card and the receptionist NEVER told me that their office didn't participate/out of network with Delta Dental. I should have been informed - professional patient courtesy is owed when you're going to incur such a large expense. I did receive $500 back from Delta Delta. If I would've went to a participating dentist, I would've only been charged 20% - $500 out of pocket. Would give this dental office "zero" rating if I was able to do so. Very unprofessional - intentionally misled and was NEVER told by receptionist that I would be responsible for 80% out of pocket. I feel that this office intentionally doesn't inform patients that their practice don't take insurance. We are retired and a $2000 dental bill wasn't in our budget.

Very clean office and a kind front desk that greats you at the front. Liz my hygienist was so great and gave me the best experience at a dentist I’ve ever had. Dr. Winslett was so nice and explained things about my teeth not one has ever taken the time to do. Overall it was a great experience getting my teeth cleaned!

Have been a patient for years and very pleased and confident in their dental care. They know what they are doing. My caps are solid and my teeth are clean, healthy. They are kind, warm and compassionate. Homerun.

Always a pleasant visit. I was a patient for 20 yrs and moved away for 10. I went back today and had the same dentist,Dr Winslett and the same hygienist,Dawn. They were all so nice and even remembered my Dad. Thank you to the whole staff. 5 stars 🤩

I want to express my great gratitude towards the dental team at Bayshore Dental. I had a dental emergency, and to me it was an horrific emergency. They were able to see me on a Saturday. The Saturday after Thanksgiving no less. Not only did they take care of me on a holiday weekend, but did so with pleasantries and professionalism. I wanted to share an extra thank you to Dr. Hicks. He had to create a temporary crown for me in office. He did so with care and took great time matching my "brand new" tooth. Thank you so much for bringing back my smile. Now I can joke again with my husband when we sing.."All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"
