The absolute best in dental care! We highly recommend this practice— from the amazing front office staff to the hygienists to the dentists themselves. Everyone is so friendly and thorough. Truly top notch. We recommend Dr. Sandifer and Dr. Richardson to all of our family and friends. Please don’t make the mistake of trying other practices in the area like we did. 😬 My husband, our three children and I all give Athens Dental Group 5 out of 5 stars!

Dentist appointments are not something any sane person looks forward to. But the people at Athens Dental Group make it as comfortable and wonderful as possible. It is just a pleasant experience at Athens Dental. Even though it had been several months since my last visit I was greeted by name as I walked in. I was already checked in as well. My exam was smooth and easy, I was asked about any possible sensitivity that may be going on so we could avoid irritating those areas while addressing the cause. Dr Sanderfdord listened to my concerns, clearly communicated what he was doing during the exam and together we crafted a plan for a healthy smile. Just a great experience as far as dental visits go!

I visited this practice due to the amazing reviews, and wow- they certainly lived up to it! I have never stepped into a dentist office with so much care, intentionality, and kindness. You can tell they really care about their patients- their dental health, concerns, and personal preferences. Highly recommend!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this dental practice. The staff clearly prioritize making dental visits comfortable and non-intimidating. Although I am unable to continue care due to my insurance being out of network, I would highly recommend this practice to others.

I love this practice. At first the decor of the hunting lodge surprised me but it’s warm and inviting. In certain rooms you can just examine the artwork and decor which is helpful for anyone with anxiety. The dentists are both personable and great to meet. The hygienist are skilled and kind. I have been very impressed.
