Excellent staff & Dentist. Atmosphere was very calming. Everyone was pleasant, courteous & professional. Everything was explained very well & alternative methods of treatment were offered. Cost of treatment chosen was discussed prior to proceeding, so no surprises in the end.

I had to bring my daughter to my appt because it was spring break. The dental hygienist, Susan, welcomed my daughter, even letting her wear a mask and "help" clean my teeth. My daughter was thrilled and excited be at the office with me. This was a great precursor to her having her own appointment in June. Thank you to Susan and Dr. Jake for including her! Just another reason that Saddlecreek Dental is the best!

Fantastic dentist. I have always had a tough time with dental, but the experience here was great. They took time to hear me and help me with my tooth issue and made sure I wasn't in any pain. Can't thank them enough for helping with tooth pain!! Highly recommended!!

First time, patient, who happen to have a great experience with this dental office. My former dentist retired and we’ve been looking for someone new. Heard lots of good things about this place. I’ve decided to give them a try. Went in with a chip off of a porcelain crown, thinking they were going to charge me for a full crown replacement. However, much to my surprise, the dentist simply buffed off the sharp edges and said I would be good to go for a while and come back if I had any more problems. Office staff was super friendly and I believe we have found our new dentist.

Dr. Jacob Moore really impressed me. Well all the staff did. I've had to have too many teeth pulled, so I know a little bit about it. Dr. Moore was very good at making the anesthesia not horrible and it was the easiest, fastest extraction I've ever experienced. Pain after has been minimal to non-existent. Even the price was very reasonable! I live in Houston but my dentist may just be in Waco now!

The hygienist finished my entire cleaning in less than 15 minutes, which is far shorter than any cleaning I’ve had at other dental offices. There was very little manual scaling, almost no attention to the gumline, and it felt like the appointment was rushed from start to finish. For a good portion of my cleaning, she kept talking to another staff on the computer (for 5min), which really worries me that she did not give me a thorough cleaning. The hygienist had to look away frequently during my procedure because she was helping that staff with some questions related to the computer program. In the end, besides that 5min, the hygienist spent only 10min cleaning my teeth with the ultrasonic equipment and VERY little hand scaling (metal pick). I have never had 10min-cleaning at ANY dentist. This is a serious concern because for 3 reasons: Subgingival tartar (under the gum) wasn’t removed properly. Tight or deep pockets were not cleaned. Finally, sticky calculus that the water tool can’t reach was left behind. This is a huge red flag, because any leftover plaque will cause inflammation and cause/worsen gingivitis. Ultrasonic water instrument is good, but it cannot replace hand scaling for every surface, and my hygienist barely used the hand scaling, unlike other hygienists I've had in the last 20 years. Other hygienists always spent at least 20min carefully cleaning tight and deep pockets and under the gum with the hand scaling (metal pick), besides 5-10min ultrasonic scaling. The hygeniest here didn't do that for me (if anything, she spent like 5min at the most, while other 10 minutes were spent on ultrasonic scaling). I left feeling very unsure and frustrated whether the plaque under my gums was properly removed. When I asked the hygeniest about the short duration, I was told that "everyone works differently, and I often finish earlier than others." But that explanation didn’t reassure me given the lack of thoroughness. This was my first visit to this office, and I feel scammed to be honest. I expected a standard level of care, but this cleaning did not meet that expectation. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously because thorough cleanings are important (especially for someone like me who had gingivitis in the past), and patients shouldn’t feel rushed or neglected. Now, I am looking for other dentist so that they will re-examine and give me a final verdict whether or not all the plaques were removed under the gum. I will provide the update on this review after that appointment.
