Highly recommend!! We had a wonderful experience from scheduling the appt to walking out the door. The front office was incredibly kind and helpful! My 3 year old was nervous and our amazing hygienist, Riley, was wonderful with him! She took her time and put him at ease throughout the visit! Dr. Moses was awesome too! He engaged with my son and made it such a positive experience! My 3 year old just kept saying how much he loved the dentist- Big win!

Dr. Gigliotti and his team were amazing!!!! I was a brand-new patient and they fit me in immediately, for a tooth that needed bonding He was kind, thorough, and explained everything clearly. The office was clean and welcoming, and the staff was great. Highly recommend!

10 out of 10 recommend Rachel @ Beach Dental Center she’s always great with my son &Me. She’s kind. High energy. And real easy going. I don’t go to anyone else. If you have a young child she would also be great for their first time. Thank you. Dr Moses and the rest of the staff for taking care of my family. 🙏🏾

I booked an emergency appt online via their website. I chose emergency and broken tooth. My issue is filling partially removed, but that was not an option. I had to take off 1/2 a day from work to go to a 1 pm appt (coming from Kempsville, Norfolk. I live closer to the office, so it didn't make sense to drive back to work. Plus I didn't know how I’d feel afterwards. After arriving early, and checking in, I waited 1/2 hr to be seen. I made a point to tell the front desk assistant why I was there. I was taken to the back, and told they wanted to do full x-rays before the cleaning. I told the nice man that I was not there for a cleaning, and I had booked an emergency visit to have my filling fixed. He left, and came back and said they could do a partial consult, and I would have to come back at another time. He said they had a full schedule, and couldn't fix my filling. I asked him why was I allowed to book an emergency appt, when they don't accommodate emergencies. He had no answer. I told him to forget it. Getting the filling fixed was my priority. I told the checkout lady that I was leaving, and my insurance had better not be billed. To say she was apathetic is being generous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BOOKING AN EMERGENCY VISIT AT THIS OFFICE AND PROBABLY ANY OF THE FRANCHISE LOCATIONS!!!

The techs and the Doctors there are so sweet! But I don’t think I’ll be going back! I’ve been going there for about a year and booked my appointment to be on 2/14/25 at 4pm. This appointment was booked last June (during my last appointment to which I received an appointment card). A couple days before my appointment on 2/14, I got a text from Beach Dental saying to confirm my appointment at 2/14 at 11AM instead of 4pm, like I had originally scheduled. Confused, I let them know I scheduled the appointment for 4pm since I would not be able to do any other time due to work. They said my appointment was for 11AM despite it being scheduled for 4 and me having the appointment card that Beach Dental gave me when I made the appointment last June (that I ended up finding right about now). I asked them when their next 4pm opening was for, and they told me that the next available appointment wasn’t until June (mind you that my appointment was supposed to be in Feb. and my last appointment had been back in June 2024). I was a little miffed but since I didn’t have the appointment card on hand showing the 4pm time I let it go and chalked it up as being my mistake. After finding the appointment card certifying my appointment in fact being at 4pm on 2/14, it was honestly frustrating because I felt blown off when I let them know that I had my appointment for 4pm. Considering they have cancellation policies and fees I felt like I wasn’t even given the time of day when my appointment was really scheduled for 4pm on 2/14. I am canceling my appointment and going somewhere else where I can hopefully be seen for the time when I actually schedule my appointments for, and actually be paid attention to when I point something out.

BEWARE of the sketchy billing practices of this dentist. On several occasions they have added extra services to my bill. When I asked for verification of pricing before getting those services, the price that I was quoted was significantly less than they charged. I've paid for each service individually at the time of service, but months after the fact they have contacted me with a long list of unauthorized charges. Stay away, or at least be very sure that you carefully check your bill and retain your receipt. Do NOT believe the office when they quote you a price for a service. I've already filled a complaint with the BBB. Edit: Of course the dentist with the shady billing practices is going to try to blame the insurance company. Anything to get out of taking responsibility. Here's a few simple truths: 1) I've had the same insurance with 2 different dentists. I've received similar treatment. Beach Dental was the only company with an issue. Perhaps they're simply incompetent or perhaps they're dishonest, but either way the issue didn't occur elsewhere. 2) I asked for pricing and verification of insurance coverage before any service. As an example, I had bitewings done less than one year ago elsewhere. When the hygienist wanted to do them, I asked her to either get my records from that company or verify that my insurance would cover a new set. I was told that she check and confirmed it was covered. Today (over a month later) they called me to let me know that this turned out to be a lie. Bottom line: Beware the shady billing practices of this company.
