I chose this practice based on the decent reviews. I had a good new patient exam and cleaning, which is why I went back for the recommended work. When I went in for a consultation before the work, I was required to pay in advance and in full. It took me over two weeks to get part of my payment back for the work that was not successfully performed. When I returned for my work, the standard of care dropped significantly. A root canal was attempted without first taking a 3D CBCT scan, despite this imaging being critical for evaluating root anatomy and case complexity. Had proper imaging been done initially, this procedure should have been referred out from the start, avoiding unnecessary pain, delay, and expense. IV sedation during the appointment was handled in an alarming and unprofessional way. After the doctor was unable to place the IV, the assistant tried, then a receptionist/manager whoever, was asked to come in and attempt IV placement. I was repeatedly poked and left feeling like a pin cushion by three different people. After they couldn't get the IV, the doctor asked if I'd like to be referred out or given an IM sedation. I was already under the influence of an oral sedative so this question should have been given to my spouse who was waiting for me in the lobby. This entire experience was distressing and entirely inappropriate in a medical setting. Before leaving with a half completed root canal, I was told the roots were cleaned and I had antibiotics placed in the canal and would be fine till I was seen by an endontist. The work could not be completed due to the shape of my roots which maybe he would have known, if they had taken a 3D scan before attempting a root canal. Before my appointment to have the root canal completed, I needed to go to an ER due to a severe infection that was spreading. After days of agonizing pain, the endodontist finished the work. The endodontist said my canals literally erupted with pus when the tooth was opened. The endodontist cleaned out bits of unattached nerve that was not fully removed by the dentist. This is what lead to my severe infection that I'm still recovering from. What makes this especially troubling is the inconsistency in care. My spouse received a 3D scan at his new patient appointment, while I did not, despite being told this imaging is standard for all new patients. That inconsistency raises serious concerns about clinical judgment and patient safety. I am sharing this experience not out of malice but rather so others don't go through what I did. Routine cleanings may be fine here, but if your case is even moderately complex, I strongly recommend going to a specialist.

I have never had a positive dental experience until now. I came in and had a root canal done by Dr. Owen. The man knows what he is doing! Any time I have been numbed before it has always hurt, when Dr. Owen did it, I didn't feel a thing. He and his staff helped me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety and to understand all of my options before I made my desicion to have the root canal done. I can honestly say this was my best experience I have ever had with a dentist and I will be coming back in the future for all my dental needs.

I am new in the Vancouver area and my husband and I found Oasis Dental. My husband had his appointment and all went great. I had my appointment- and I knew I was in need of some dental work. There was some confusion - at least on my part - of what was discussed to be done with final estimate and costs. After expressing frustration Dr Combe took time to set down with me and go over everything until I understood the treatment and plan. He was patient and kind walking me through the time frames and procedures. I have planned to be out of state for the Thanksgiving holiday. Dr was understanding of family and travel plans and made adjustments to his schedule to allow my extensive dental work to be completed so that I would be able to enjoy planned trip. In a time where you find as many dental offices as you do Starbucks — it is rare to find a Dental office that is as patient and kind as Dr Combe. And of course a shout out to Haylie the hygienist. I would definitely recommend Oasis Dental to friends and family

I felt so welcomed and safe here at oasis with Stephanie, and Dr. Owen. Having dental anxiety, they helped me feel like they cared about my well-being and mental health more than not. I am so grateful for how they took care of me and I have never said I’ve been excited to go back to a dental office, but oasis has changed that and is a safe haven for me. Thank you times a million Oasis!

The team was very friendly and they took the time to explain everything that needed to be done and answer any potential questions I may have had. At no point I time did I feel like I was being judged, belittled, or talked down to like I have at other practices I've visited in the past. They provided a plan and broke down priorities for treatment and a timeframe they recommend to take care of all issues.

Dr. Madani comfort of the procedure of fillings is the best! He explained well the care plan for my teeth for what to do next like wisdom tooth extraction and implant. The deep clean of my dental hygienist also is 5 star! The front desk staff assistance is appreciated. I can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you Oasis Dental for 5 star experience.

My experience at Oasis Dental was exceptional. If you choose to visit, I highly recommend requesting Mayada as your hygienist. She is informative, kind, and gentle. The front desk is responsive and organized, so I was able to get an appointment much more easily than has been my experience at other clinics. Overall, they are a wonderful team and I had a great experience!
