Gentle Dental Vancouver Mall

I have been to the dentist 3 visits now over the last year and a half and I haven’t been seen by the dentist. The first time, I was told that the doctor was running very behind and I was encouraged to skip the exam unless I had a specific concern. They said that I could leave and avoid having to wait for the doctor. The second time I came for my cleaning, I was told that the doctor was on vacation and that I would have to come back sometime for an x-ray and an exam with the dentist. It is hard for me to schedule time off during the week to go as is, and near impossible to get a second day off to come back. Why on earth would a dentists office be able to operate without having an actual dentist in the building?! I was told that if I didn’t come back, that they would have to drop me as a patient because I’m refusing to be examined by the doctor. It’s not my fault that they were on vacation. I didn’t know that they would be on vacation when I scheduled the appointment six months ago. Then when I went for my regularly scheduled cleaning yesterday, only to guess what? Not be seen by the dentist again. My appointment was at 8:30. Halfway through the x rays and cleaning I was told that the dentist would be in at 9:30. 9:40 rolls around and I was told that the dentist wouldn’t be in until after 10am, and that I would have to come back. It really seems like a scam at this point. My gentle dental is collecting insurance money for cleanings that are happening without even having a dentist in the building. I’ve been going to gentle dental since I had teeth… maybe not anymore…

Everything was wonderful. They helped me assist with my toddler I had to bring along in many ways and made the appointment as fast and efficient as possible. They even combined another appointment into this one to save me time. And it was my own fault because I missed a previous appointment. I love them and will continue to use them.

Overall, the experience at Gental Dental was amazing. The doctor, hygienist, and assistant took the time to listen to my concerns and explain each step of their process. The environment was lovely. Thank you, see you guys in 6 months !

The employees at this location are so nice. I haven't experienced anything like it. Everyone at the office, each layer of speciality, treated me with dignity and respect. 100 percent recommend.

I have been seeing the same hygienist, Shelley, for years and it’s the reason I keep returning every 6 months for cleanings. She is compassionate and caring and so gentle. Very happy with my experience 🙂

I've been going to Gentle Dental for quite a few years. The only reason I stayed there is because of Shelly my hygienist. This last experience was the best. Hannah was awesome! Very satisfied overall.

I love this gentle dental location. The staff are so kind and gentle and they work so hard to make sure your experience is the best even though they were short staffed today. They made sure to get me in and take care of all of my needs five stars.
