We had an appointment at this dental clinic with our 2-year-old child. Even though the visit was scheduled, we ended up waiting almost two hours, which is unacceptable. The clinic itself looked very unclean, with outdated equipment and a shabby interior. The overall atmosphere was unfriendly, both at the reception and among the staff. The doctor showed no real interest in the exam: the child was already crying, and all we got was a superficial glance. No useful recommendations or explanations were given. Overall, it was a completely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this clinic.
Great honest people work here Daniel was very professional
Dr. Gabbay did all of my dental work for at least a decade, and what he DIDN'T do (I moved away for awhile), didn't last as long as his work has. He took care of my sister, daughter and several other people I referred to him and they're all thrilled with the care they've gotten. I'm moving back to California, and once reestablished, no matter WHERE in SoCal, I'll be happily returning to VNVDG!
Best dentist ever. Knows how to get the max out of your insurance coverage. Excellent work. True, he's located in a dangerous part of town. But Just don't go alone. Update: Brush and floss, and he wont find "extra work" to do...
Been coming here for over 12 years. Started coming here when I was 13 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The front staff is always super helpful and the doctors always get the work done properly. I've never had any issues with any of the procedures that they've done to me or any problems with the insurance either. They accept most types of insurance and they'll recommend you to someone else if they can't help you. Not only do I come here but also my brother and my mother as well. Would strongly recommend this place for new patients!
OMG..... This is the WORST dentist office that I have ever seen in my life!!!!!! Everything (chairs, equipment, etc) is in terrible condition! Looks like they took them all from the trash! 30-50 years old stuff, not less! X-Ray machine is kinda first edition! One of the receptionists did not wear any mask and the doctor didn't even bother himself to wear gloves during examination?!! He just stayed barehanded! I came there to remove wisdom tooth due to acute pain, but they were trying to push me to do deep teeth cleaning also, expecting me to pay out of my pocket as insurance most probably wouldn't cover it!! Just bunch of clowns. Stay away from this place and be safe.
If I could give a zero I would. After a recent visit and some follow up phone calls, I've decided to never set foot inside this office again. Recently, I had to visit the office and found numerous issues. These are some of the things witnessed by myself and other patients: 1) They allow patients to be maskless in small a waiting room, front desk and hallways during this pandemic. 2.) Not consistent checking patient temperatures upon arrival 3) Exam rooms have older equipment and look dirty. 4) Staff is unprofessional and at times very rude. 6) Neighborhood is dangerous to the point where we were told by staff that they have to escort each other to their cars due to the homeless people. 7) Stepped in human excrement along the curb when exiting our vehicle. 8) They don't produce detailed receipts. 9) Have to keep pushing billing person to get insurance approvals which takes a ridiculous amount of time. 10) Dr. Gabbay has a rough hand and is not patient enough to wait for novocaine to work. 11) I've been given the runaround to get my records released so I can go to a new dentist and still have not been able to obtain them. Please protect yourself and your family and think twice about using this dentist's services.
