Tracy Dental Excellence

Hands down the best dentist in Tracy!! I had so much trouble looking for a dentist that would take my insurance but Lori was so helpful on the phone and made the whole process very smooth! I went in to have a root canal which in itself was very scary for me but I was in so much pain I needed the procedure done ASAP. I was assessed on a Friday and got the root canal appointment for the next day! Lori went over my payment and was completely transparent about all the expenses and made it clear that there is a possibility of the insurance not fully covering everything. I had many questions which she answered honestly and did not sugarcoat or persuade me of anything! I was aware of any and all possible additional fees. I understand some people get upset that they have to pay more than what may have been originally told, but they let you know that additional fees may be required of you because some times insurance takes time to process. Outside of logistics, my Dentist Dr.Sir and her aid Montana were AMAZING!! Montana was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. I am not a fan of the dentist because of past experiences that were traumatic but after coming to Dental Excellence I can say I truly have no fear of the dentist anymore (so long as I’m being see at this facility and this one ONLY). I really hope they are in business forever lol because I will not be going ANYWHERE else to have my teeth examined. Thank you so much for your care, professionalism, and honesty!!! Such an amazing staff at this facility!

Please BE AWARE of this dental office I want to share my experience so others can avoid going through what my family did. During my visit, the staff verified and confirmed multiple times that my insurance would cover the remaining balance and told me exactly how much I needed to pay upfront. They assured me that once I paid that amount, there would be no additional charges and the rest would be covered by insurance. Based on those guarantees, I paid upfront for treatment for both of my children. They also suggested that I get fillings myself, but I clearly explained that I was recently laid off and could not afford additional treatment. I specifically asked them again to confirm that I would not receive any bills later, and they reassured me that what I paid was final and guaranteed. Despite all of this, I later received an invoice stating that I owed additional money. I called the office multiple times and spoke with staff members, including Stephany and Lori. Each time, I was told they would review the issue and call me back by the end of the day or the next day. No one ever followed up. Weeks later, I received another invoice saying I still owed money. This cycle has repeated several times. About a month ago, I was again told that I did not need to pay anything, that they would fix the issue, and that an adjustment would be made. However, just a few days ago, I received another notice demanding payment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I was clearly assured that my insurance would cover the costs, and now I am repeatedly being billed for amounts I was told I would never owe. I feel misled and taken advantage of. I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision when choosing a dental office. Please be cautious. This is not an excellent dental office, based on my experience, it is one of the worst. Their billing practices are misleading and untrustworthy.

Hello, I'm calling about my experience with dental office. I recently had an appointment at Tracy Dental Excellence, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. During the cleaning, the hygienist Teresa was gentle yet efficient, ensuring I was comfortable throughout. I left the office not only with a brighter smile but also with a better understanding of my dental health. Overall, Tracy Dental Excellence exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and care. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a trustworthy and friendly dental experience!

Dr. Shawn has worked hard to open his general dentistry practice. I wish him much success to him and his great staff!

I am literally in love with this dental office. The staff there are amazing! Teresa the hygienist is so friendly and comforting. Dr. Shawn has made my fear of dentists and dental procedures basically go away. I am so grateful I found them because I always need a lot of work done and they make me so comfortable. They always accommodate my schedule and are respectful and helpful. The front desk staff are always on top of what is going on and make sure everything is correct with my billing and appointments. I will NEVER switch dentists again. Thank you to Tracy Dental for being there for me and my poor mouth!

My experience there has always been a wonderful one. The dentist there is phenomenal. Extremely talented and gifted man. I’ve had a lot of work done to my mouth and quite frankly Tracy dental is the best out of all of the care that I have received in my life. The staff are extremely friendly and professional I would highly recommend this office to anybody who’s looking for perfection and professional work
