Walmart Supercenter

Terrible experience and getting worse if you pay with a card. All of the registers at the checkout or self-service have a problem with their chip reader and you must attempt it twice before the machine will allow you to swipe instead. However, some machines are not reading the chips anymore and will not allow the transaction to finish. The employees have been aware of the issue for a while because it happens to many others, too. I had no other choice than to walk out empty handed tonight because I did not have cash on me.

Horrible customer service. I interacted with 5 employees to do a simple item search that the app indicated was in stock but I couldn’t find. One tried to tell me the general area they thought it’d be in - great, but I still couldn’t find it. Went to customer service where one took down my name and asked me to wait 30 minutes. While waiting, the next two that arrived in the customer service area completely ignored my presence and avoided eye contact with me without greeting. The fifth talked for a bit, but when I asked him if he could look it up, he said he required a barcode. As I pulled up a photo of the barcode and the SKU, and he just walked off without another word and continued his work as if I didn’t exist anymore. Having already spent an hour trying to find the item, I walked out. Not one person actually attempted to use their system to verify or give any sort of answer.

Store was very clean. A lot of new things that other Wal-Mart's didn't have. Even the customers was nice.

Last four delivery order have been messed up. Placed last night, still waiting for delivery the next day ! Told they are waiting on driver. Tried to call to speak the a general manager, apparently that's not a thing anymore. Not paying for this ridiculous non service anymore

This review is more for the so called "floor walkers" so during the blizzard in January, to those who thought I was pacing the isle for no reason I was trying to figure out prices and if I wanted an electric space heater. I wanted a propane heater (and I just got out of an abusive relationship the day before on my birthday might I add spent it alone cuz his family told me my birthday didn't matter) so if you all who boxed me i also have cptsd and boxing me in triggered it slightly. But if my floors in my house is frosted over I will not be going to buy a space heater from here. Still triggers me til this day.

Walmart #5441 was pretty nice but apparently there is a card skimmer at one of the self checkout registers. I was in there on 10/16/25 buying $30 worth of chow mein essentially around 11:40am to restock on food, and today my card got charged for a site called MyJustAnswers. A site that has charged me randomly before in the past for almost $50 after I also used one of the self checkouts on the California Avenue Walmart. So if you go shopping at least #5441 don't physically use the self checkout nearest to where you enter to use them as your walking in.

Nice store, is sit up a little diffant compared to other Walmarts (makes it a little hard finding things), nice having a Subway, and eye glasses stores in it. Best of all when they saw the check out lines were getting long, they actually opened more check out lines.
