Besides the long wait to be seen my experience was excellent! The X-ray tech was very nice, professional, and let me know exactly what was happening. The dental hygienist was very thorough and the dentist was informative and knowledgeable. I just moved here from out of state and I’m so glad that I got the mailer in the mail and decided to go to Rotem Dental Care to get my cleaning done.

I am not fond of going to the dentist, but one of my caps broke off and I had to have it fixed. My son recommended ROTEM Dental and they got me in quickly. I was in and out in about an hour with a new temporary cap in place. The staff is friendly and calmed my fears. Dr. Rotem was marvelous. He explained everything he was doing. Thank you ROTEM for making me feel at home. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment and they got me in immediately. The staff was super friendly and talked me through every step. I saw Dr. Yang and she extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood my treatment plan. I felt comfortable and safe here. I would recommend to family and friends.

From the initial phone call to the day of my appointment, the staff at Rotem Dental was friendly and pleasant. The hygienist, Bonny, was kind, attentive, and took her time listening to my dental needs. Dr. Feliz was compassionate and knowledgeable, carefully reviewing my dental history and helping me find a specialist for ongoing numbness from a previous surgery. I am very satisfied with the professionalism and care I received. Thank you everyone at Rotem Dental!

Update: I contacted Rotem again today and was told they would waive the charge and send me my X-rays for free as long as I took down my negative review. They also repeatedly asked me to confirm in writing that I would remove the review before sending my records. I ultimately received my X-rays after agreeing to update my review once they were received. I do appreciate that they followed through and sent the records. That said, I believe it’s important to note that conditioning access to medical records or fee waivers on altering or removing an honest review may raise concerns under the Consumer Review Fairness Act, which protects consumers’ rights to share truthful experiences. Patients should be able to access their medical information without being pressured to modify or retract their feedback. ---------- I had been to Rotem Dental Care in the past and had a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, this most recent visit was very disappointing. It had been about two years since my last appointment, so I was told I was considered a new patient. I checked in, filled out paperwork, completed X-rays, and was taken back for my exam. The dental hygienist, Jessica, began explaining the plan for the visit, but paused to "check something." She then asked about my medical history, specifically my immunodeficiency. After going back and forth with the doctor (whom I was never given the opportunity to speak with directly), I was told the office could not treat me due to a potential risk of infection and that the doctor’s "license would be on the line" if I became ill. I was informed I needed to be premedicated with antibiotics, which was surprising since I have never been required to do so in the past, including during previous visits to this same office. The hygienist referenced nearly two-year-old paperwork from my doctor and dismissed my clarification that antibiotics are only necessary before surgery, which was not being performed that day. This was especially confusing since I was being treated as a new patient, so why rely on records that are nearly two years old? If my file is considered new, then any old documentation should be considered out of date. She then suggested I call my doctor on a Saturday, which would have required using the emergency line for a non-urgent matter. Additionally, Jessica made comments I found unprofessional, such as saying "Don’t shoot the messenger" when informing me I could not be treated. I also observed that when she left the room to speak with the doctor, she left other patient’s information visible on the computer screen, which raises privacy concerns. Rotem contacted me six times before my appointment by phone, text, and email, yet never mentioned any need for premedication. After I was turned away without care, I asked for copies of my records and was told there would be a charge. I also asked to speak with a supervisor and was told someone would call me that same day. No one did. I called again on Monday and was told the supervisor was on vacation, but the patient coordinator I spoke with said he would call me back by the end of the day Tuesday and asked I send an email describing my experience. I sent the email, but he never followed up. I called again Wednesday and spoke with a third, different patient coordinator who told me the supervisor had returned and would call me. Once again, no one called. This ongoing lack of follow-through has now delayed my ability to continue care with a new dentist since I still don’t have my records. Overall, the experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating from start to finish. I cannot recommend this office to others.

I was going here for a bit of a complex situation and needed to have 4 teeth extracted. While they were able & willing to do it I was not without being sedated. This just made fear of the dentist worse. They did take my X-rays, cleaned, scraped off the plaque & recommended an oral surgeon who did perform the procedure. I’m healing from that now. The referral & $25 for my X-rays to be emailed were very fair and streamlined the procedure. I will go back & have finished what I need to once my mouth heals. Dr Yang is going to take care of a few cavities, some crowns & partials for me. The office and staff were all very friendly, organized and clean. It was my choice to have them pulled at the referral. They didn’t say no, they just said the one Dr there would give me gas & plenty of Novocain I needed to be put under because of my fear. I would recommend this office and I will be back for the rest. Thank you Dr Yang and all.
