Tampa Bay Dental Implants & Periodontics - Dr. Robert J Yu (Tyrone)

I like to be a big vlogger/reviewer for myself and others. I was recommended Dr. Yu and or Dr. Crawford by my general who I absolutely love and trust and did my research on both especially for my type of situation and I will be visiting Dr. Yu today. He seems very informative, knowledgeable and caring especially with all his achievements that he has. So I'm excited along with curious to see how it goes with pros and cons. I've been informed how expensive this practice can be and how they try to upsale with mouthwashes etc and have extra fees like monitoring. Honestly would be my first hearing about this with a practice but every place and everyone have different experiences so I will update!

I did make an appointment and The request was make an appointment to get my teeth cleaned and one of my inserts tightened as it felt a bit loose. After all of the x-rays tote, etc., then, consultation with Dr. YU. It seems that he’s missed the point completely and tried to sell me some unnecessary surgery and I couldn’t help feeling that he missed the point completely and tried to sell me a bill of goods. My next-door neighbor had the same experience with him and he had gone to another dentist who I have made an appointment with. Unfortunately, I don’t appreciate the pretentious attitude of "selling this old guy a Bella goods ". I am 86 I have been through it all with my prosthodontist in California and I spoke to him on the phone yesterday and forwarded him the.. Enough said.

From the time I called and spoke with the staff on the phone and coming into the office everyone was very nice. Made me feel comfortable during my visit. DMD Yu was very kind and patient and gave me excellent explanations of what needed to be done.

As soon as I was welcomed by a smiling, friendly Ms.Snow Le, I felt comfortable. Everyone who greeted me was warm and respectful of my questions as a new patient. My first experience with dental implants was a huge success, in the capable hands of Dr. Yu. From his friendly and efficient office staff to his surgical team, I was made to feel special and that the process would go smoothly. Dr. Yu includes you in the plan, discusses your special needs, and goes over the post-op regimen very thoroughly. The office has the newest in X-ray technology as well. The surgical team functioned like a finely-tuned orchestra. As a holistic patient, I got the zirconium implants and I was set-up with an array of naturopathic products which have no side effects. Dr.Yu called me after surgery to check on my recovery (the same day of my surgery.) His practice is a first-class operation. You don't want to trust just anyone for this delicate procedure. Extremely helpful &kind staff, and knowledgeable dentist. 🦷 He clarified a number of my questions, and was very patient. Also, No sitting & waiting to be seen which was great. Dr.Yu and team are excellent and even though it was an unpleasant procedure they explained very thorough and very patient with my questions and fears. Dr. Yu is top notch and will remain my go to for my periodontal needs!
