Children's Dental Center

We have always had a great experience at children’s dental center! Our kids are in middle school now and we have been coming here since our oldest was 2. We have nothing but great things to say-the staff is always kind and caring! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Children's Dental. The only thing I was hesitant about was when I received a follow-up call regarding scheduling an appointment for my little one, I felt some judgement from the receptionist due to taking a while to schedule (already had Mom guilt for the dental work needed). We live in Yankton and finding a day is hard, then I dropped the ball on scheduling for a while. Maybe it was an off day on the phone for her - but other than that the dentist and assistant were absolutely wonderful. They were thorough and talked everything over with me. My little one did great and said the dentist was very kind!

My daughters went to the Children’s Dental Center when they were growing up and now my two grandchildren go. We received top notch service and the entire staff was outstanding.

Children’s Dental Center made my kids experience with the dentist amazing! Having a mom who has never liked going to the dentist made them more nervous than normal, but that all disappears when I bring them here! Thank you for making this a calming and good experience for them.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about children’s dental center! My son has always been anxious about dentist visits due to a difficult experience at a different clinic, but this time was a completely different story. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, patient, and so great with kids. The dentist took the time to explain every step in a way my son could understand, which made him feel safe and in control. To my surprise, he was calm, cooperative, and even smiling during the appointment! The gentle approach, kid-friendly atmosphere, and genuine care made all the difference. This was hands down the best dental experience we’ve ever had, and I’m so grateful to have found a place where my child feels comfortable and confident. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a dentist who truly understands children!

My daughter loves this place! Every person I talk to has been very nice and helpful. She has been going to them for 8 years never a problem! Would definitely recommend! I would give them a 10 star if I could. Just a heads up to the new people the parents wait in the waiting room while you kids get the work done.and at the end they will call you back to let you know how it went then the kids get a surprise at the end!

If you’re wanting to be able to have a say in your child’s care plan I would not recommend this dentistry to anyone for their child. Hygienist were great the doctor was not. Advocate for your child and their care. Was told my child needed more work than what was actually needed on my child’s teeth. Went and got a second opinion and very glad I did. My child no longer needs all the work the doctor had said was needed. I will never take my child there again. Very confused on if this was for the best care for my child or more $$$. -100/10.
