Silver Spring Dental Arts

I love it here! I mean, really. They are lovely people and great professionals. Dr. Mellanie is thoughtful and considerate in her treatment plans and care. Her entire staff reflect the same. The Dental Hygienists (I will learn all of their names) are spectacular. Melinda is delightful and it is such a joy to see her when I come in. I am so grateful to have found 'my Dentist'...that is no easy feat, let me tell you!

After bouncing from bad dentist to bad dentist for years, I've been coming to Dr. Thompson for 5 or 6 years now, and I couldn't recommend her enough. Melinda at the front desk is wonderful as well.

I've been seeing Dr. Thompson for over ten years now. I've lived in Virginia for five of those years, so her office is an hour's drive away, but I refuse to switch to a closer dentist because she and her staff are so warm and welcoming and all of them know what they're doing. I have a service dog, and the entire staff make sure both of us feel welcomed and taken care of. My teeth are as clean and healthy as anyone could wish thanks to these folks, and I plan on staying put as long as she's in practice. Thanks for everything you and your team do, Dr. T. Don't ever change.

I have been going to Dr Thompson for a few years now. I couldn’t be happier with their service. From the front desk to the hygienist, they are all wonderful. You don’t have to wait, when you come in they get you in your chair right away. Dr Thompson is wonderful! I love all her staff.

As a first time patient I can honestly say that Dr. Thompson and her staff were the most pleasant and and easy to work with of any other dentist I've seen. Dr. Thompson was also *extremely* thorough and explained things to me in much more detail than any of my previous dentists. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Mellanie Thompson has created an atmosphere of love and joy while thoroughly and carefully treating her patients, giving explanations of everything is doing or recommends. She's one whose word you can feel confident in.

My 2nd visit to SS Dental Arts.. had fillings and a fitting for night mouth guard. I am super pleased with both the administrative and the medical/dental side of the practice! I'd been with my previous dentist, for about 23yrs, but they recently moved out of the area & so I had to find a new Dr. pronto... had delayed a bit because I was afraid it wouldn't be a positive experience (finding/beginning with new practice). So glad I was referred to Dr. Thompson. She and her staff are great! The office is organized, clean and all the medical and financial info is communicated proactively and professionally. It's super easy to schedule, good location, easy & free parking and the wait time is minimal if any. Check out the annual plan if you don't have dental insurance... very good deal! Even though she is good about setting expectations for any discomfort or pain during or after treatment, I have yet to experience any! She's thorough and sensitive to your needs during procedures.... bonus is that she's very personable and puts you right at ease. I wouldn't hesitate to refer family and friends.
