I received excellent dentistry from Dr. Gracie Castillo at Dr. Kim's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry office in Santa Monica. Dr. Castillo is caring and gentle with state-of-the-art expertise. The office is attractive, well staffed, takes insurance, free parking. I had a cleaning, fillings for cavities. She was so quick, it was painless, her Assistants are very professional. My teeth look beautiful. Highly recommend this office and Dr. Castillo. Thank you (see you in 6 months)!!!

I love Dr. Kim, but ever since the new hygeninest Renata came, I've hated coming here. She constantly tells me things I need to do - even if Dr. Kim doesn't agree, pressures me into teeth whitening, and makes inappropriate jokes (taking my x-rays, "Are you pregnant?" "No" "Why not?!"). I am looking for a new dentist simply because of her.

I have been going to Dr. Kim for 22 years. My grandfather and my uncle were my dentists so understandably I had high expectations for dentistry when they passed away. I had the good fortune of finding Dr. Kim who has provided me with consistently excellent care ever since. I strongly recommend this dentist. His office manager Gigi, and hygienist, are amazing and care very much about their profession. I wouldn’t go to any other dentist!

Have been a patient with Dr Kim for over 20 years and he and his staff are amazing!! Had a crown fall out and the office was able to see me in the afternoon and all is fixed!! Thank you Dr. Kim, most grateful to you and your team!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean office and parking. This is a review for the billing / payment portion of the office specifically. I had an appointment about two months ago for my first appointment. However, I haven't received a bill or anything of the sort. No big deal, stuff takes times. The problem is the lack of communication: I've reached out 4 times via email over the last two months, and have heard nothing back. I have absolutely no insight into what I owe / whether my insurance has been billed, etc. Their website says that: "As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 45 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full." If you're seeing a dentist who gives you a grace period of 45 days, it can be very concerning when you don't hear from them for months and don't have any insight into what you owe or the status of your bill.

Back at it again. Came in for my cleaning. Love coming here. They do such an amazing job that, I decided to bring my husband. I just know he's also gone like the service here.
