Dr Park performed dental surgery on our then 5 year old daughter Devon under general anesthesia to remove a molar which had not erupted on schedule. Despite clearly understanding and confirming that the tooth being removed had yet to erupt, Dr Park ended up removing the healthy molar next to it which was fine and perfectly functional. Dr Park did not recognize, admit to the mistake and apologize until after we were sent home and our daughter complained of pain in her mouth and we discovered that the wrong healthy tooth was removed. As a result our daughter had to schedule another surgery (with a different oral surgeon since we would never go to Dr Park again), and will be missing molars on one side of her lower jaw for 3 years until her 8 year molar comes in. She has had to chew entirely on one side of her mouth and this has caused additional strain on the rest of her teeth. We’re incredibly disappointed and upset that a surgeon could put a young child under general anesthesia and proceed to operate incorrectly. We would highly highly recommend parents considering treatment from this doctor to explore alternative options to avoid the heartache and ongoing health issues our daughter had as a result of this botched surgical procedure

Dr Park removed my tooth # 3, back in 2008 and I still can't stop talking about, how good he is. I have referred many patients to him and they all praised his skills and ease of care. Additionally, every time I talk to another dentist about Dr Park, they all know him! This means he is highly regarded amongst his peers. And just today, I referred him to my cousin in Germany and they're planning to make reservations to fly to LA next spring to see him, because her husband is too afraid of pain and needs oral surgery.

I highly recommend Dr. Howard Park and his office. They are professional and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Park is current with all of the new tricks and trades of Oral Medicine. My daughter was terrified of having her teeth pulled and was dreading the procedure. He used anesthesia that extended her comfort, allowing her to avoid any narcotic pain med. Her outcome was amazing and she could not get over the ease and comfort of the procedure --and the easy healing afterwards. The communication was amazing, and you can tell Dr Park and his office really care about their patients.

Dr. Park is, without hyperbole, an extraordinary oral surgeon. When my beloved Santa Monica dentist first recommended him, he told me, "Dr. Park is the best there is." He was right. I've been seeing Dr. Park for various issues over the last ten years and I never fail to be impressed by both him and his staff. I just had to go in for an emergency extraction during a massive Covid-19 surge in Los Angeles and the only reason I wasn't more nervous was because of my deep trust in Dr. Park, his impeccable office, and his incredible staff--particularly the lovely, kind, and on-the-ball Kanita, as well as Rosa, Hibon and Gina--all of them are just so sweet and professional and reassuring. The front office staff is also wonderful and helpful. I have recommended Dr. Park to other friends who have all been so happy with their experience and I once had another surgeon literally gawk in wonder at how "perfect" my implants were when he looked at an Xray. Like I said, the best there is. I am very grateful to have found him.
