I had the worst teeth pain ever in my life. I have visited the doctor office 3 times and still in such pain paid $700 plus dollars for work that left me needing more work and left me in more pain than I was in the 1st place. I have had to take antibiotics and IBU and Tylenol for about a month. I was referred over to a Endodontic Doctor instead. Please be careful with them. I am hurting and been hurting so bad that this was just a filling and crown that I went in for. They left me worse than it originally was. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Hands down the friendliest and most sincere staff I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with! They did a great job with my teeth cleaning and addressed all of my concerns when I told them I was experiencing some soreness in my gums - I look forward getting routine care from them in the future :]

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Christensen for about two years, and we are very happy with our experience with his practice. This includes timeliness in terms of our appointments, as well as gentleness -- but thoroughness -- on the part of the dental hygienists and their cleaning methods. Until recently, however, we had not needed any actual dental work by Dr. Christensen. That changed, though, when I had a very old filling fall out one evening while flossing. I called Dr. Christensen's office the next morning, and the receptionist told me to come in right away. X-rays were taken, and I was fully expecting to be told that I would need a crown. Instead, Dr. Christensen said that there was enough bone left that he could put in a new filling -- and, if I had time, he could do right away. So, he did. And everything has worked out just fine with that filling. The "bottom line" on this review is that if Dr. Christensen had said that I needed a crown, I would have accepted his advice and gone for that. It would have been much more expensive for me -- and I assume more lucrative on his part -- but he didn't do that. So, that is why I have taken the time to tell you about my experience with Dr. Christensen and why I trust he will give my husband and me the very best advice and dental care for years to come.

Dr. Christensen is one of the best dentists I have had. I asked him to change out my mercury fillings for (white) ones. The (white) fillings I have had with him have been very good quality- they "feel" very good too. The crown he did for me is very good as well- the best one I have- I can barely tell it's a crown, even when I look close. He is very knowledgable, has great attention for detail, and it is obvious that he cares about doing quality work. He is also very personable. I can and do recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in Santa Fe.

I have trust in and admiration for Dr. Christensen's skills and his good chair-side manner. As one who had a bad childhood dental care experience, I come with anxieties and supreme sensitivity to this kind of care and anticipated pain. That has passed now, thanks to the reassurance, skill and friendliness of Dr. Christensen and his staff. My teeth cleaning routine is a dream with Andrea! Now I am involved in more complicated care and Dr. Christensen has explained each step and presented me always with options and a conservative approach. He is from my grandfather's excellent dental school: Temple University, nationally recognized for a century as among the finest medical/dental institutions. This is the first time I have ever been calm and enthusiastic about my dentist and his team. I am in excellent hands!

I was driving across country meandering my way to California and while hiking at Bandelier National Monument managed to pull a crown free. In trying to find a local dentist in Santa Fe, another dentist's office who did not have a time slot available referred me to Dr. Christensen at Smile Santa Fe Dentistry. I was able to make an appointment for first thing the next morning and Dr. Christensen was able to quickly and efficiently get the crown cemented back in place though with the viewing instrumentation he had, he was able to warn me to see my dentist once I got home as it appeared that though the crown was intact, there were small areas where parts of the base tooth were now gone and though the cement would fill those gaps it would erode away. I was able to continue my trip essentially uninterrupted thanks to Dr. Christensen.
