I would not recommend Santa Fe Dentist Office. They constantly cancel appointments and when they do schedule their contractors for oral surgery their in a hurry to get you in and out because they have flights to catch. My daughters three widsom teeth were pulled in a 20 minute appt. Mind you she was sedated within that time frame too and when they were done they took her immediately out side to the truck. Did not provide paperwork on how to care after or anything as a normal appointment for a procedure would go. 2nd - i went in for dental work for a root canal and perm crown and 2 days after notice a new "crack" on my tooth that was behind what Dr. Rufo "fixed". I called and made an appt telling them what has occured, then when i go to the appt he tells me i need a filling and i would have to pay $255. i did not have this crack prior to his procedure work he did a week ago and called immediately and took the first available appointment. i told him he should take accountability and he recommended i get a second opinion because we can just "AGREE TO DISAGREE". I may not have the best teeth in the world but the Dental office is in it for the money. They are rude and do not want to take account for what they have done. Old school and not up to par with technology. Dr. Rufo clearly stated there will be no outcome for this other then go get a filling,. Yes thank you for breaking my tooth and expecting me to pay your non professional business money for something you did. Not to mention the helper kept hitting my other teeth with the water tool while getting me procedure done, then at the end put too much water that i had to sit up from choking. Very unprofessional. Would never NEVER recommend. The only calm professional individual there is Mr. Cameron the office manager. But if you want a dentist who continuously cancels, doesn't take account for his awful work he has performed this is you place other wise Good luck go somewhere else and read reviews. Bad bad business Rufo. Maybe its time to retire

I had extensive dental work here was extremely happy with the whole experience. From the cleaning to the x-rays and the implant to the crown, this office has a professional team of friendly folks with a tender touch and a soothing voice. The office handled my insurance. I didn’t have to do a thing. I’m so glad to have found a dental home.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Patrick Rufo is by far the most unprofessional and incompetent dentist I have ever encountered. I went in for a routine filling and left with a cracked tooth. When I returned to have it addressed, there was no accountability on his part—only attitude and a complete lack of concern for my well-being. I was even told that "my tooth could hurt for months," which is something I have never heard from any dental professional. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. 0/10 — I do not recommend, especially if you want to keep your teeth for a long time.

Went there a little over 6 months ago, and was told I have 9 cavities, 9 CAVITIES! I couldn’t believe it because I had regular cleanings and checks and hadn’t been told anything. I ended up getting 2 different opinions, both times I was told I have no cavities. Not to mention how rough the assistant was and the cleanliness of the walls and floors.

Great place to get an implant. After numbing, procedure took 10 minutes. I took one Tylenol that day. No real pain to speak of after the Novocain wore off. No bleeding at all after the first afternoon. Healing up great!

It took me awhile to get my first appointment, but I have been very pleased with the level of care I have received including 3 implants which were incredibly easy. I had put off having them done for years.

The team has always been kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I’ve been a patient of this dentist for years and have only had positive experiences.
