If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m not one to write reviews either but I feel as if I don’t have a choice. I’ve been coming to this office for many years from childhood and now as a young adult. My past experiences with this office have been great but as of recently this office has lacked pride and respect for patients or at least with me. In the past week and a half I’ve had to come out of my way 3 times to "receive treatment" because 3 out of the 4 times I’ve come in (one of those times being a successful visit to their sister office in Pasadena because I needed a root canal which got done) they have not preformed what I’ve asked for as far as a full exam for my other teeth and have misdiagnosed me too. I know my teeth aren’t perfect and I have cavities if not worse and to be told that they are fine or that there’s another problem when I know it isn’t true makes me feel lied to or worse which being that the dentist doesn’t know what they are doing. The cherry on top of all of this is the fact that the receptionist here, she’s a short blonde lady and her name starts with a K but I can’t remember her full name, has argued with me about my treatment in office and over the phone as if she’s my dentist telling me my teeth looked fine and that I can find another office to go to if I have an issue. She has also booked my most recent appointment under a different day telling me the day prior that it was this specific day (I’m assuming to waste more of my time) and has refused to print out information about my insurance for me (which this office has done before) so I could be treated elsewhere. As said previous years I’ve been here were gold standard before this newest staff arrived and from no call backs for concerns about my still untreated teeth, no responses to emails I’ve sent over, lack of proper treatment, misdiagnosis, and rudeness of staff, I am feeling lost, frustrated, hurt, and helpless and hope that this office can turn itself around or at least find more professional staff.

I was referred to SCV Dental Care by a friend and was immediately impressed with their professionalism, kindness, honesty, and competitive prices- for absolutely the best dental work I have ever had. The SCVDC team developed a section by section plan to restore and improve my entire mouth. The results are stunning. My smile looks better than ever, and natural. I can eat with comfort, and I have renewed confidence. I cannot thank Dr. Aboolian and everyone at Santa Clarita Valley Dental Care enough.

Do not choose this dentist for care of any kind, especially aesthetic work! I had a cap replaced along with three veneers on the top. I was promised an exact match with veneers and cap. While I was in the chair, numbed up, teeth ground down and ready for the new cap and veneers, she brought the cap in and said, "the shading doesn't match, but we can probably get you a new one in a few hours" ... At that point, what do you do? I had her put in the cap. It was a bait and switch for which I never received any kind of remedy. I was very disappointed. I had been happy with this dentist until that day.

BEWARE!!! Let me just say, both my wife and myself, are having worse issues with our teeth after going here. They completed 3 crowns and a bridge for me. ALL 3 crowns have issues, and my new dentist is telling me the bridge is not sealed properly. This is why the crowns chip, fall out, and I have such pain with cold temps. They even billed my insurance for work NOT done. We only spoke about do the work, they billed my insurance and now my insurance wont cover the work at my new dentist because they say it was already done. My new dentist wants to replace all the bad crowns, but again, insurance wont cover it as it was done within the last 2 years. So I am either stuck with the bad work and pain, or pay out of pocket. A grievance has been filled with my insurance company.

I never liked the dentist and I imagine many are like me but this dental office makes it much easier to go. They have an amazing staff and the doctors were very patient answering any questions I had about my crown and work being done. The technology they had was top notch which made the process much easier and faster. I have had no problems with the high quality work done whatsoever. If you're looking for a dentist I would highly recommend this place!

As someone who is terrified of the dentist, this place made my visit amazing! Their care was so patient and understanding. They constantly reassured me and made sure I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend to all my family and friends!

Sounds weird to say that you actually enjoy going to the dentist... but we do. Everyone from the ownership, dentists, dental hygienists, and secretaries handling the front desk are polite, happy, and a real pleasure to be around. They have different systems in place to text and call to remind you of your upcoming appointment, and the condition of the offices / rooms are just as pleasant as the staff! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
