Such a wonderful office and highly recommend! I had a last minute dental emergency and Dr. Woo and his staff were all so wonderful, helpful and really alleviated the stress around the entire situation. Dr. Woo explained all decision points and potential outcomes clearly and thoroughly, and I felt very empowered in making an informed decision regarding my teeth. This office is truly a gem in the East Bay!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the changes since my last visit six months .

I had a terrible time with this dentist. They changed their prices during a procedure without telling me. Couldn't get the temporary crown right. Obtained consent under anesthesia. Recommended treatment for sleep apnea after their sleep study came back showing no sleep apnea. And they rarely seemed to read my chart. I finally found a new dentist, and just in time. Woo had insisted I needed 9 crowns. The new dentist said all I needed was one. I would recommend avoiding these people.

Great practice for families, particularly with kids. They make visits a pleasant experience, are very gentle and never judgmental, and my kids enjoy coming. The staff is great and there’s no fear of dentist visits.

Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted by Merary, who continued to address my many questions with grace and patience. I was then attended to by Jenelle, who clearly explained each step of the process and asked me about my previous dental experiences. She prioritized my comfort throughout and showed great empathy toward my anxiety, treating me with remarkable care and gentleness. Dr. Ryan also demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. Rather than immediately diving into treatment, he carefully examined my gums and teeth while explaining each step along the way. What stood out most about this practice is that it operates with integrity—it’s not driven by sales. The team genuinely values patient trust and well-being. Dr. Ryan was honest and transparent when recommending treatments, distinguishing clearly between what was essential and what could be deferred. He allowed me to make informed decisions without pressure or upselling, which I truly appreciated. This was my first visit to the Woo Family Dentistry. Dr. Ryan and his staff were friendly, personable and extremely helpful. RDA Janelle and Dr. Ryan fully explained what the X Rays revealed and what steps I could take to improve my teeth health. I felt both were knowledgeable in their fields. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful in assisting me in redoing my initial forms after they did not receive those I submitted on line. Everything in the office is State of the Art. For the future work needed, I was provided the prices, to avoid surprises later. Looking forward to my next visit.
