I had a specific, urgent medical problem and my doctor wanted to see the kind of x-ray that dentists typically take. This was a non-standard request and many other dentists were confused and wouldn’t take me but Dental Studio SF saw me the next day. Dr Wu understood the problem and was attentive, kind and patient as I used my assistive talking app because I couldn’t talk that well. There was some complexity with billing medical vs dental insurance so they ended up waiving part of the fee which was very kind of them.

I recently visited this office for a teeth whitening procedure and had an excellent experience. Angelica at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and communicated everything thoroughly. Jessica, who performed most of the procedure, was knowledgeable, reassuring, and efficient. Bianca provided friendly assistance throughout, and Dr. Wu demonstrated professionalism, competence, and expertise. The office is very clean, the patient rooms are comfortable, and the views are beautiful. The entire process was painless, and the results exceeded my expectations. Overall, I received exactly the care I needed and would confidently return for future treatments.

I used to love Dental Studio and have been a patient since 2016. It seems they have had significant turnover recently and have gone far downhill. I got X-rays taken and had a check-up six weeks ago and typically see the dentist while I am there. It turned out there were no dentists onsite that day, and they said the dentist would call me back with the X-ray results. They did not call me back, and I had to call repeatedly to ask to speak with the dentist. The one time they called me back I was unavailable, and then when I called back they said the dentist was on vacation for the next couple of weeks. According to that timeline, the dentist should be back by now; however, they still have not called me with my X-ray results. I’m very disappointed in how bad their patient care has become and plan to find a new dentist soon.

Dental Studio SF is THE BEST in the whole Bay Area!! Bianca, Laura, all the staff, and Dr. Ma gives top notch care and service. I have been going there for well over 15 years. Trust me, this is where you want to go for any teeth related service. 😀

Modern office in Union Square with a super friendly staff. My hygienist Bianca did a fabulous job. Dr. Ma performed the exam and explained everything clearly and concisely. They utilize imaging, from a pen camera, which Dr. Ma displayed while discussing possible issues. This helped me understand what the issues were. With a great location and easy hassle-free appointments, Dental Studio SF is a five star dental office.

Incredibly friendly staff and good doctors. No extra waiting time. The service is unbelievably efficient. Nice view of Union Square while the dentist does her thing. Love it!

Going to the dentist has never been so enjoyable. From the moment I walked into the office, the front desk staff made me feel so welcome and at ease. They were super friendly, helpful, and even managed to make scheduling a breeze—no endless back-and-forth, just simple and straightforward. They were gentle, thorough, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients. And then there’s Dr. Ma. Dr. Ma has such a calm and reassuring demeanor, and they took the time to explain everything in a way I could actually understand (without feeling overwhelmed). They made the whole experience feel so pleasant. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dental team.
