Dr Cortez was amazing. I hate going to the dentist but he was able to make it a pleasant experience. He was very careful and always checking on me to make sure there was no pain and I was comfortable. Also the cost was very affordable. I was quoted 3x more from 2 other dentist. They offer financing with 2 year no interest which made this very easy for me to pay. I highly recommend them. Before making any dentist decisions get a quote from them, its worth it. Dr Cortes is the most talented dentist I have ever known. Not only is he an expert in his field, Dr Cortes constantly stays on top of all the latest techniques and technology. Dr Cortes and his staff are so kind and courteous, they are always happy to see you and make you feel so welcome. You won’t hear your standard dentist music playing either, always good tunes which sets the atmosphere for all to enjoy. I am so happy I found Dr Cortes and his practice San Diego Smile Center. This past week my elderly mom at 87, was extremely nervous, anxiety regarding pain for her implant surgery. Today her surgery went smooth and painless. Her reaction, WOW that's It?! I worried for nothing, I didn't feel pain. We were beyond ecstatic! Dr. Cortes genuinely focused on her well-being and comfort. He is outstandingly skilled with a gentle touch. Dr. Cortes took his time at the end of the day to call to check on her. Dr. Cortes and the entire staff are honestly caring, professionals with superior customer service! You are always greeted immediately upon entering the office with friendly smiles! They make you feel like family. Everyone here goes above and beyond in patient care and customer service. San Diego Smile Center is full of lovely staff who really make you feel welcomed and at home! I like many people struggle going to the dentist due to anxiety, but when I go for a cleaning with them I'm never worried. Even when I hadn't gone to the dentist in a long time due to said anxiety and poor treatment at dentists in my hometown, they didn't judge me. Everyone is so friendly and kind and made extra sure to accommodate me when I mention feeling anxious, and they really listen to your needs or concerns. Thank you guys!!!

What a relief to find the perfect dental office. I have moderate TMJ disorder and am very particular when it comes to dental work. Dr Cortes and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and always take the time to explain the procedures beforehand. I also appreciate the laid back environment with fun music and conversation. I often need to take breaks due to my TMJ issues, but there's no pressure or rush on the patient. 5 stars across the board!

I have always had fear of going to the dentist. When I found Dr Paulo's office I was fearful as always. He explained everything to me and did the procedure and he was wonderful. I will never use any other dentist again except for Dr Paulo . He took my fear away and I even didn't feel the numbing in my mouth. I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist as long as it's Dr Paulo. Thank you Dr Paulo and your staff they are all great.

I couldn't be any happier than I am with San Diego Smile Center. Dr Cortes is excellent and is as nice of a person as he is a Dentist. Everybody there has always been so wonderful and caring. I always look forward to my next visit!
