I had a wonderful experience at this dental office. The dentist is an amazing lady—very calm, extremely knowledgeable, and she took a lot of time to explain everything to me in detail, which made me feel very comfortable and reassured. Mina, the assistant, was also fantastic—very kind, professional, and clearly great at her job. The whole visit felt smooth, caring, and stress-free. I highly recommend this place!

I am deeply grateful to find such an amazing dentist, hygienist, and staff! My initial experience with Dr. Touran Davoudi was met with compassion, understanding, and honesty following a series of harmful and unethical experiences at other offices. Unfortunately, a life altering experience, while getting crowns at La Jolla Happy Smiles, left me with bilaterally displaced TMJ, 6 millimeter malocclusion, and overall distrust, due to lack of financial transparency. Dr. Touran Davoudi was the sixth dentist I saw post injury; aside from necessary self-advocated physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, TMJ "specialists", alternative treatments, CT scans, MRI’s, and pharmaceuticals. The prior dentists recommended severe procedures; including jaw breaking surgery, several teeth extractions, etc., costing thousands upon thousands of dollars; clearly not wanting to treat me. Unlike all the others, Dr. Davoudi said, "I’m so sorry", with genuine sympathy, which felt incredibly validating; especially after my experiences with other "professionals." My second experience with her involved evaluating a swollen, infected gum area. I was only scheduled for a consultation, but Dr. Davoudi chose to skip her lunch, to complete a very needed, extremely thorough mouth scaling on all four quadrants, while also removing the swollen area. She displayed great humility by not telling me she sacrificed her lunch, but thankfully her kind assistant did. Also, when I asked her about a manual adjustment treatment to potentially fix my jaw, she was completely transparent. Even though I’d been perceived as a liability, she practiced great compassion and courage in manually presenting a technique that could potentially move my jaw back into the joints. Regardless of the outcome, the hope she instilled was incredibly powerful; especially considering my former experiences and the ongoing pain and suffering that have negatively impacted my life for the past 3 years. After the procedure, my gums reattached for the first time in years! There is no longer the visible recessive gap below the gum line. Her persistence, determination, dedication, expertise, and healing intentions are evident! She also patiently took time to educate me regarding proper dental care. My overall experiences have left me feeling heard, valued, and care for; which was deeply healing after so many negative experiences. I can’t express in words, how much this has meant to me. I have regained trust because of her authenticity, integrity, kindness, compassion, and expertise. In addition, my amazing hygienist, Lucia, has patiently and thoroughly cleaned my teeth with detailed precision. Also, the wonderful office manager, front desk personnel, and dental assistant, are all incredibly gifted at their jobs! I am appreciative for their talents and all the positive interactions. If you’re looking for authentic, non-pretentious, kind, caring, honest, knowledgable, experienced professionals, who will not only go above and beyond, but treat you with respect and honor, look no further! I highly recommend Mesa Family Dental!

This place has excellent service and is very professional. I was a little late because I confused it with Mesa Dental, so don’t make my mistake! Highly recommend for your dental work. I got a deep cleaning and they did a great job.

Awesome place, very helpful staff. I got Invisalign and they helped me feel very comfortable even when I needed more trays and corrections at no extra cost. I definitely recommend them and will be to my friends and family. I can finally smile! 😃

I am a new patient here and couldn't be more impressed with this transparency with this dentist office, theyre up front and honest and dont push you to do unnecessary work. Normally I have anxiety at the dentist for those reasons but I did not have any yesterday. Love my new dentist Dr Lee
