Derek Chan, DMD

I haven’t been to the dentist in over a decade because of my anxiety. My dentist as a teenager passed away and I just never found a new dentist. I had one wisdom tooth left that needed to come out and I couldn't put it off any longer. This office was very considerate of that and were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and thoughtful. Thoroughly explained everything before/as it was happening which I greatly appreciated! They have an adorable therapy doodle named Mochi who they let sit with me during my visit and that really eased my anxiety! Even though I didn’t answer the phone cuz I am terrified of everything in life, was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Chan himself called to check up on me the next day and not a receptionist. I will definitely be trying to suck it up and start focusing on my oral health and be going in more regularly now that I have found this dentist!

I went to the Dentist, Dr. Chan, yesterday. They are so nice and helpful. Right in the middle of my procedure I changed what I wanted done. It was no problem with Dr. Chan and staff. They just wanted to make sure I got the service I wanted and that I was happy. Dr. Chan called me today to make sure I was okay with no problems. I will never go to any other Dentist. Thank you Sweet Family Dentistry.

Many people are afraid of dental procedures- we’ll fear no more. Dr Chan is amazing with his skill, bed side manner and awesome staff. He will absolutely settle any nerves or worries you have about going to the dentist.

Love this dentist and staff. My crown came loose and they scheduled me for same day emergency appointment. Reasonable pricing, recommended preventive care without pressure for upcharges. Highly recommend as they won me as permanent customer. Formerly Mint dentistry of 4 yrs.

Dr. Chan and staff always do a fantastic job. He and his staff always do a thorough job on cleaning and on procedures. They are patient, thorough and the end result always exceeds expectations. Thank you Dr. Chan.

They always take good care of us. Gentle, caring, sharing great details and giving us options when needed. My kids love going to the dentist especially to watch tv while getting their teeth cleaned.

All my family use Dr Chan’s services and I only have good words about the quality of the service, professionalism and staff. I strongly recommend him.
