I had a three phase osseous surgery performed at Rochester Periodontics by Dr. Yihan. Dr. Yihan did the assessment and proveded a very detailed explanation of my gum condition and the best course of action. I felt very comfortable and well informed throughout the entire process. I would rate the surgical procedures 10/10. Dr Yihan is extremely capable and highly professional, but at the same time very personable. My recovery after each surgery was fast and with no issues. In terms of customer service again 10/10. I was called after each surgery to check how I was doing and to see if I had any questions. I also received timely reminders before each appointment. The entire staff was welcoming and very attentive. I honestly don't know how many times I said thank you and how grateful I am to Dr Yihan and the team for amazing care the provided. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Yihan and her staff are top notch. She is a true professional-kind, calm and an outstanding clinician. She takes the time to clearly explain procedures, delivers excellent results, and maintains a reassuring and compassionate demeanor throughout. I couldn’t recommend her and the staff more highly.

Dr. Gala and the entire Team at Rochester Periodontics have surpassed all expectations. Dr Gala repaired multiple issues with prior failed graphs and implants. After many years of missing teeth, I finally decided to have dental implants placed. I'm so happy that I chose to go to Rochester Periodontics and Dental Implants. The staff and doctors are so kind, professional and very informative so that I knew exactly how each procedure would go and the cost, which was less than what I thought it would be. The offices are super clean and I continue to go there for my cleanings and if in the future I find that I need another implant I will certainly have Dr. Yihan perform the procedure. She brought my smile back before and I know she will again.

I was referred here by my dentist because he suspected I would benefit from a gum graft. I was absolutely petrified because I had heard how awful a gum graft could be. From the first phone call to schedule a consultation, I was met with the greatest compassion and empathy from the staff at Rochester Periodontics. I was so scared of the procedure and everyone was so gracious with me. Dr. Yihan did a wonderful job of explaining why the gum graft could be helpful and why my gums were thin. She was never condescending and never pressured me. She and her staff were very understanding of my anxiety and supported me by outlining my options for sedation and providing excellent tips for recovery. Ultimately, I ended up going ahead with the gum graft and it went amazing. It wasn't anywhere near as painful as I expected and it looks great! I will always go to Dr. Yihan for my periodontic or implant needs!

This turned out to be a long journey for me and I underwent gum surgery in all 4 quandrants of my mouth during the October '23 to January '24 timeframe. Being a new patient, I found Dr. Yihan to be really honest, direct, patient and empathetic from the get go. She gave me excellent advice on the path forward, setting realistic expectations on what to expect and the seriousness of the situation. Now that a full year has gone by, and I have had my 1 year anniversary consultation with Dr. Yihan, I can share that I could not have imagined any better outcome for myself. She not only saved all my teeth from replacement, her advice on how to manage post surgical care and regular cleanings with her team has enabled me to experience near-full recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend Rochester Periodontics and Dr. Yihan as someone who is extremely competent and offers excellent care for sufferers of periodontic mouth disease.
