Dr. Donald P. Ohlsson, DDS Family & Emergency Dentist

First of all I’m not a big fan on having to go to the dentist but when my cracked tooth began to hurt I knew I needed to get for some repair work, probably a crown. My previous dentist installed crown on another tooth but I was never satisfied with the fit, plus I had to make a couple visits to complete the total procedure. So I decided to contact Dr. Ohlsson at Rochester Hills Dentistry to see what they could do. Made my appointment, got my check-up and cleaning (was not shamed because I did not floss everyday) and then scheduled my next appointment…… to get a crown. Showed up for appointment and was totally amazed in the outcome. I walked out with my new crown (not a temporary) the same day, and never felt pain during and after the procedure. I can’t believe I got my new crown with one visit and it fits perfectly. I’m so happy I found Dr. Ohlsson and from now on, he is my dentist. No stress, what a relief. The office staff is wonderful as well. I was treated like family right from the start. Thank you for the awesome visit and dental work!! I don’t mind going to the dentist now.

Absolutely Amazing!! I had my CROWN REPLACED IN 1.5 HOURS! Mind you, this was not from a temporary crown to a new crown, this was a full blown removal of an old crown, the sizing and manufacturing of a new one, and installation of my new, permanent crown all in one office visit due to a great new piece of equipment they have at the office. I was able to leave the appointment and go out to dinner immediately following. No tenderness, no nasty temporary crown, no follow up visit. Completely good to go! Dr. Ohlsson has been my dentist for 10+ years and I've always taken note of how he invests in new technology - he's always looking for better, faster, more efficient (and pain-free) dentistry methods...not to mention he has surrounded himself with an amazing, kind, and talented staff. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!

Everyone there was absolutely amazing. It was a great experience & i'm glad i chose them for my dental needs.

I wrote a review regarding the not so great work Dr Ohlsson done capping my teeth. His secretary had me come in to fix the problem, which was a very foolish thing for me to do after a not so great review. Dr Ohlsson said I had three cavities and pretended to fix them, now I have real cavities with deep holes in my teeth and all of my teeth are chipped. It is very painful to eat. The secretary is trying to charge me for work the dentist did not do. I asked for my dental X-rays she refused to give them to me because of a $200.00 balance she claims I owe for nothing done. How can these people continue to be in business with this type of service. I was wondering if the dentist is racist and this was just against me. My dental insurance will only cover so much, I’m 70 years old on a fixed income so as soon as I save more money I will have my teeth fixed properly. The Lord is not satisfied with Dr Ohlsson actions and he will be punished for them

I've been visiting the Don (teehee) for roughly four months now. I can say with 100% certainty that he has unequivocally saved my teeth. I had serious problems with tooth decay in a majority of my teeth. Work is still being done but the 'worst' of it is finished now so I am comfortable leaving a review. In addition to generally being satisfied with the results, the office itself is very comfortable and accommodating. Staff is incredibly friendly. The rates for services are very fair. Never once did I question Dr. Ohlsson's integrity or skill, very professional and well conducted. If you need specialist work, there is a fantastic endontist in the same building you will likely be referred to, very convenient. Shout out to Dr. Glass for a smooth batch of root canal therapy.

I would recommend Rochester Hills Dental to anyone, but especially those that are hesitant to see a dentist. Personally I had a bad experience with a dentist in the past. This made it challenging to come in for regular cleanings and checkups. As a result, I let a lot of time pass without going in. Needless to say I when I finally went I was apprehensive. However once I meet Dr. Ohlsson everything changed. He was gentle, he was kind and he was truthful. He completely changed my outlook on going to the dentist. He has a wonderful staff that share his caring and sensitive attitude toward dentistry. If you currently don’t have a dentist please visit Rochester Hills Dental. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, or you are simply hesitant because of a bad experience let Dr. Ohlsson and his staff give your teeth the care and help they need. You’ll be so thankful that you did!

Dr.Ohlsson and his staff never fail me. My latest visit today (7-5-22) was for a crown that unseated I had done somewhere else like 20+ yrs ago and a broken tooth above that crown that came loose. I left Dr. Ohlsson’s office today with 2 new crowns. That was very important to me because I’m an OTR truck driver and can’t always get into the office. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed.Thank you very much Dr. Ohlsson. 👍🏻
