I took for granted that all dental offices were run as professionally as Canyon Crest. The difference became obvious when I visited another dental practice which sent me running "home" to Canyon Crest Dental (CCD). The CCD office is immaculately clean and organized. All staff are professional, skilled, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. These are the best of the best! They have the latest modern equipment and do everything possible to make patients comfortable. Their finance person has many years of experience and knowledge of benefits in all insurance plans. The previous office gave me an outrageously high estimate for a single tooth implant saying that my insurance plan wouldn't cover it. I found out from Canyon Crest Dental that my insurance plan actually covers 50%. That's a huge reduction in my out-of-pocket cost.

I am a person who is very anxious about going to the dentist and the staff at Canyon Crest Dental made me feel comfortable and safe in an environment I would typically avoid. The dental assistant , hygienist and doctor listened to my concerns and made any adjustment on their end to make sure my visit went smoothly. The entire staff from front office to the dentist were so sweet and friendly. I appreciate the care they give and will continue to go here because of this reason alone. Not to mention that the clinic is very nice, clean, organized and punctual. I can’t stand when I have an appointment and then I have to wait another hour to be called but that’s not the case at Canyon Crest Dental. Thank you for the excellent service you provide.

I came back to this dentist after two years, and the experience was just as amazing as I remembered! The entire team is professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. My cleaning was excellent — my teeth looked rejuvenated, brighter, and so healthy afterward. You can tell the staff truly cares about their patients and the quality of their work. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

I was very impressed with everyone at your office, from the ladies at the front desk to Olga, who was so helpful when she made my appointment over the phone and in person. Including everyone else I came into contact with on my first visit: Vanessa, Kristy, and Dr. Nora. There was also the lovely lady who went over the treatment plan and fees with me. We started talking about her daughter and nursing school, and I forgot her name, but she was very sweet and attentive. Thank you! I truly appreciate your team's dedication and kindness, which made my visit very positive.

Dr. Nora is the best! She is gentle, listens, encourages and compliments when she sees that you are doing your part to keep your oral health intact. The staff is most helpful, if needed, gets you in as soon as possible. I changed to this practice about 3 years ago when my dentist retired. I made a good choice!!

Canyon Crest dental is my favorite dental Office. I have been coming to Canyon Crest dental for close to 5 years and have always had stellar service. I visited them recently for a scheduled cleaning and that part went well, but I left feeling uneasy as I chose to get a laser treatment for my gums, which was 285$ out of pocket, which the hygienist let me know insurance did not cover prior to the treatment. I did not truly want the treatment but I felt pressured as it seemed like it was medically necessary. It did not seem like it was an emergency but I felt a bit pressured and under duress as right after the Hygienist completed my flossing , she asked about my flossing, which I do regularly but not consistently daily. She then said, you have a lot of bleeding and that is because your gums are swollen with bacteria and this laser treatment can help that. This could be true but I was uncomfortable because I haven’t had a cavity or any oral procedures outside of wisdom teeth extraction in close to 3 years (I go to canyon crest dental 2-3x per year), so I was surprised and a bit scared to be hearing this. I’ve had such great experiences with Canyon Crest dental and never felt like I was being upsold a treatment, so I leaned on the Hygienist’s recommendation and agreed and paid. Once the treatment was complete she then informed me of the after care instructions, which I heard her also explaining to the patient she was with prior to me, which made me raise an eyebrow because what a coincidence that myself and another patient being treated by the same Hygienist needed the same experimental procedure. After the Hygienist was complete the Dr. came in to review the. X-rays that had been taken earlier and the Dr. said no cavities and no need for any treatments, we then customarily celebrated another good dental report, but that made me feel even more uncomfortable/confused that I just spent 285$ on a gum treatment. While I was disappointed in this part of the experience and my reaction to it, I always try and find the lessons in the experiences I have and I identified quite a few from this experience, so I’m not too bothered and will 100% continue coming to Canyon Crest Dental. What I wish would have been different is more patient education, more transparency about treatments being medically necessary, and to be presented with alternative treatment options.
