Rego Park Dental Care: Hyeong Kim

I had an excellent experience at Rego Park Dental Care with Dr. Hyeong Kim. The office is clean, well-organized, and runs on time. Dr. Kim was thorough, patient, and took the time to clearly explain my treatment options without any pressure. The staff was professional and courteous from start to finish, which made the visit stress-free. I felt genuinely cared for and confident in the quality of care I received. Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy dentist in Queens.

What happened to this office Dr.Kim ? Crown breaks just 2 years after I had it done. Not good! I see now that other patients had same issues with their zirconia crown. Don’t blame the LAB, they just fulfill the cheap orders.

I had a mixed experience. The service was decent but they are aggressive in trying to upcharge you for additional procedures. They exaggerate the issue and didn't explain that the procedure would need to paid out of pocket with insurance not covering it as there is little evidence of any real benefit. Ended up feeling like I got ripped off. Be skeptical whether any additional procedures they suggest are actually needed.

I went there as a walk-in to ask if they could accept me because it was urgent. The receptionist was really rude. She looked Russian, but I’m not sure—she was a middle-aged woman with short blonde hair. I wasn’t rude or pushy about my situation, even though I was in pain. I didn’t say much, but she kept telling me, "No, we can’t accept you." There’s no reason to be rude. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even though the doctor has good reviews, it’s very unfortunate that they have such a bad receptionist. The other girl, who was Spanish, was very nice.

Dr. Yura Nickyalov is Excellent Dentist . He is amazing. He is so professional. I recommend him to everyone. God Bless him.

I had to get a tooth pulled, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERD BY MY ISURANCE BUT THEY FILED THE PAPAERWORK WRONG. They charged me $750 on the spot knowing i had no choice. after months of my insurance company and myself not able to reach the billing department I still have not been reimbursed my $750. EVEN AFTER THE INSURANCE PAID THEM!!!!!!! FYI - They charged me $750 out of pocket but only billed the insurance company $400. THEY ARE A SCAM

Dr. Kim is a terrific dentist. I had been looking for a new dentist for a while and based on the zocdoc reviews tried Rego Park Dental Care. Dr. Kim takes time to explain everything to his patients and has been one of the least painful dental experiences I've had. Highly recommend him.
