Excellent dental care. My gums have healed with good home care instructions and office treatments twice per year. The office is clean, and the staff is kind. I highly recommend Birch Dental Group.

2nd visit Oct 24, 2025. Went in for a cleaning, it went very well, no pain. I like the shots given to prevent infection. I really like this dentist office, so clean and the staff is wonderful. IF you are looking for a good dentist, call Patty, she will help you schedule your appointment and explain the procedure. 1st visit My mother went to this dentist and she is very happy with her appointment. She says it was the best compared to the rest she has had. She is very happy.

I've been going to them since they pretty much first opened. Before giving my feedback... I have to confess that I used to dread dental appointments. Here are my thoughts: 1) They have done a tremendous amount of work on the interior of their place. This may seem a bit parenthetical to a review of a dentist, but it actually shows how much they care about their patient experience. 2) I really like how they have 'coached' me into becoming better at my own dental care. I actually look forward to my appointments. 3) They seem genuinely interested in me as a patient.

I’m not sure how they have a 4 star rating. (It might be possible to get fake reviews I imagine - see their Yelp reviews and you’ll realize). I’ve been unable to get even a courteous response leave aside an appointment with the dentist. It may have to do with the fact that I was trying to get an appointment for someone who is on an HMO plan — why accept a plan if you don’t want to treat the people using it. Update: I got a call back and was told to go to another dentist. And note that they don’t talk to you unless you are on a printed list they get once a month - even though Delta Dental said it’s all electronic. I guess they get paid if you’re on that list but then they can find a reason to not serve you, unless they can claim enough, which an HMO plan likely doesn’t.

First visit went very well. Staff kind, affable and respectful of my questions and concerns. Hygienist was very careful and competent. As I take strong medications, caution and safety were vitally important; she was extremely cognizant and planned accordingly. The office manager was very efficient and gracious and all took care that I felt comfortable albeit nervous. A very positive and happy experience. Thank you.

I had forgotten about my appointment, but I was pinged earlier to see if I could come earlier (very fortunate for that!) I thought I was going in just to get fitted for the crown that’s gonna go on the implant I had done at Burlingame. When I came in I was told there’d be a $250 charge for x-rays. I questioned whether x-rays are necessary since some very detailed ones have been performed at Burlingame. There was a bunch of other things so I went for $250-$590 and then I ended up paying 2500 bucks on the way out and signing up for another 2500 bucks. That’s not a complaint. They spent 2 1/2 hours with me. And the things they were doing, and proposing seem to make sense. But it was a big deal.
