First time here and was recommended by a family member. I was seen by Dr.Vukotic who oversaw my visit. The staff members who checked me in were really nice and helpful while filling out all the paperwork. Had a full cleaning done along with a full check up. They really take care of each patient and it shows. Overall had a wonderful visit and look forward to coming back.

I want to give high compliments to the people in dentistry of Redondo. My experience was amazing! Mariah was so kind and very helpful. Also, Brock was very professional kind and wonderful. Dr. V is amazing and Liz was very helpful as well. The whole team made my first visit exceptional! I actually can’t wait to go back and have dental work done! They make the experience a pleasure! Thank you!

Sabrina is the best!!! Truly one of a kind. You can definitely see and feel that she cares for her patients. I absolutely dread going to dentist appts due to being nervous about cavities/build up, but Sabrina really helps you feel at ease and makes you feel comfortable while getting treatment. She is also very helpful and informative when giving advice on the upkeep of your dental health. Thank you!!! (Please show her this post lol)

I went in to get my upper right front tooth looked at because I was experiencing pain, and was told that I would have to get it pulled out, and it would cost $6,980 for an implant with my insurance. I thought that was a bit expensive, and I have really good insurance. When I told the doctor about my concerns, she suggested that I go to a "dental school", to get work done if I can't afford it, which I thought was very impertinent, and she was not too commiserating in her approach at all. Then I was told that a partial would cost $2500, and was also told to "don't worry if you have a fake tooth, everybody has them, you just don't know it". I called my insurance company, and they told me that a implant would only cost $900 with my insurance, and a partial would only cost $350. I was so upset, and I couldn't stop crying, I didn't understand why I couldn't get a root canal done to save my front tooth, and I would have to walk around with a missing tooth!! I did my research, and found out that Redondo Dentistry is a subsidiary chain to Smile Dentistry, which is comparable to going to McDonald's. Their goal is to overcharge you, and make as much money as they can while doing it. I also realized that years ago, I went to another dentist which was part of Smile Dentistry, and the staff there was very rude and dismissive. This experience unfortunately stopped me from getting adequate dental care. I opted to get a 2nd opinion from a private dentist, and was treated with dignity and respect. I will be going to their specialist on Friday, and they will be able to save my tooth by doing a root canal. This particular dentist has been in business for over 30 years, and has 5 started ratings, while some of the dentist at Redondo Dentistry look like they just got out of dental school. I'd rather go to someone with more experience. All I can say is lesson learned...do not put your dental health in the hands of those who are part of a chain, because they are there to make money by overcharging you. Go to a private dentist with more experience, and excellent bed side manners.

It’s never a good start when they ask you to be there at 7:45 for your first of the day appointment at 8am and nobody is at the front desk. Then you watch the person you’re there for walk in 15 minutes later and you still sit in the waiting room only to be told the orthodontist hasn’t even heard of the appliance you’re there for. This was on the heels of a year to have a $7000 dental implant done which is highway robbery. The periodontist had no bedside manner and I was never well-informed so every visit was a shock. I had to walk out once because they sprung an invasive procedure on me. I think it’s time to switch dentists. I’m sick at what they charged me for my dental implant WITH insurance and even sicker that I didn’t get a second opinion. The Hermosa and Redondo Smiles offices leave a lot to be desired and leave nothing in your wallet. Update: Contacted 2 local orthodontists and both do active retainers for minor revisions.

[This review is for the orthodontics] I've been trying to get a new retainer since the start of August, and opted for the Invisalign-style plastic aligners. It's three months later and I still don't have a retainer, largely because this place still uses the impression-style method of taking a mold. I've had to get impressions done 3 separate times now, and because the orthodontist is only there on Wednesdays, the process of getting them and then waiting for the (incorrect) aligners to come through takes weeks. While I had one tech who was empathetic to me having to come back in and the frustration I felt with the ongoing delays, I didn't get much from the orthodontist or some of the other techs. If i had to do this again I would only go to a place that has digital imaging.

Went in as a new patient after my previous Dentist no longer accepted my insurance. I have had a root canal, a crown and fillings done along with regular cleanings before with my old Dentist with no issues. When I went to this Dentist, he was very negative about the work my previous Dentist did. He said the root canal is infected, I have cavities everywhere and chipped teeth. He then made a comment that was unprofessional saying, "Did your Dentist even look at your teeth"? He also asked who my Dentist was and I told him, and then a condescending manner he said "Never heard of him". Also, I asked for just a regular preventative cleaning and they declined saying I would just be moving bacteria around in my mouth. They were only offering me a costly deep cleaning that I would have to go back for. They gave me estimates of all the so called work that needed to be done and my cost out of pocket after insurance would have been $10K+. I don't see how I got regular services done at my old Dentist with no issues or extra charges and then I go to this new Dentist and they treat me like I have never been to the Dentist before. Not going back.
