This is especially important to me because my partner has cancer and I have an immune disease, and I feel genuinely safe and protected every time I’m there. Their advanced equipment allows patients to actually see their teeth and clearly understand what needs to be done, which builds trust and confidence in the treatment plan. Nothing ever feels rushed or hidden—you are fully informed and involved in your care. Dr. Young is an exceptional dentist who truly prioritizes patient care. She went out of her way to save my tooth when my insurance company was pushing for removal instead of preservation, and that alone speaks volumes about her integrity and expertise. I also learned that Dr. Young was a professor at UCSF, and it absolutely shows in her depth of knowledge and precision. She brings that same level of care, education, and excellence into her practice and trains her staff with the same high standards. One thing I especially appreciate is Dr. Young's mantra—she wants patients to eat and drink what they enjoy, live their lives fully, and know that she’ll be there to take care of their teeth. She also takes the time to explain the basics, including how to properly brush and floss, making sure patients are set up for long‑term oral health, not just quick fixes. I also received Invisalign treatment at Sustainable Smiles and was very happy with the entire process and the results. Everything was handled with the same expertise, clarity, and attention to detail that Dr. Young brings to all of her work. The entire staff is warm, caring, and genuinely friendly. The office is immaculately clean, and the built in HEPA air filtration system is a huge relief for me as someone who is immunocompromised and high-risk for COVID and allergies. I’ve never felt safer or more at ease in a healthcare setting. With Dr. Young, visiting the dentist truly feels enjoyable rather than something to fear. Her warm approach, expertise, and genuine care make every appointment a positive experience.

I can honestly say this is the best dental office I have ever experienced. For most of my life, going to the dentist felt embarrassing and stressful, and I often tried to avoid it. Everything changed five years ago when I met Dr. Young. Since then, I have been visiting regularly every three months, and every visit has been a positive and reassuring experience. Dr. Young is incredibly professional and clearly loves what she does. She has a warm, friendly way of talking with everyone, which immediately puts patients at ease and makes the entire experience comfortable and even enjoyable. She is always encouraging, kind, and extremely thorough, taking exceptional care of not only my teeth but my entire family’s dental health. Recently, we had a non-threatening emergency on a Sunday. I called the emergency number, and Dr. Young personally answered the phone, calmly talked us through the situation, and scheduled an appointment for 8 a.m. on Monday. That level of dedication and care truly meant so much to us. The quality of treatment is consistently excellent—precise, thoughtful, and handled with the highest level of professionalism. I trust Dr. Young completely and am so grateful to have found her. I genuinely recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist who combines outstanding skill with warmth and compassion.

This office is 10/10 the office is beautiful top tier. Dr. Young and Dr. Ta and staff are wonderful. More importantly the care and quality of work is outstanding. I have worked as a dental assistant for over 18 years and always for a general dentist but, I work for a specialist now so I needed a general dentist and I picked the BEST! I came in to get a crown on my tooth and I was welcomed by Dr. Young and my procedure was wonderful I didn't feel a thing! She touched my heart, she is such a wonderful woman I wish everyone had this same kind of energy. Thank you Dr. Young for your kindness and great work. I look forward to having a life long relationship with her and her whole office.
