Trying a new dentist can be nerve-racking. Fortunately, Pittsburgh Dental Spa made it easy. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was welcoming and genuinely kind. A special shoutout to Haley, she’s an excellent dental hygienists. Her positive energy made the whole appointment feel relaxed and comfortable. If you’re nervous about switching dental offices, this is a great place to start. Highly recommend

I’m 35 years old and have only seen one dentist my entire life. Once my dentist retired I put off finding another dentist because I was hesitant. I’m so happy I decided on going to Pittsburgh Dental Spa. My teeth were cleaned by Chelsea who did a great job and was very gentle. I was seen by Dr. Runco. Along with Chelsea they both throughly explained what procedures I needed and offered sedation dentistry. I booked a future appointment for those procedures and am certain everything will go well based on my first experience.

I can’t say enough great things about this dentist! I used to dread going to the dentist, but they make every visit so easy and stress‑free. The hygienist Haley was so kind, and the dentist really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable. My teeth have never felt better. I’m so glad I found this office!

Seriously the best Dental experience I've ever had. Everyone was so kind. I went in for a root canal after breaking my tooth. They made sure I was comfy with a blanket and pillow, explained everything, and did a great job on my tooth. I told my friends I went to a bougie beach themed dentist lol. Absolutely recommend.

Since moving to Pittsburgh, I needed to find a new dentist, and after seeing all the amazing Google reviews, I decided to try out Pittsburgh Dental Spa. I’m so glad I did! They were able to schedule my first appointment within a week, which was super convenient. During my first cleaning, the hygienist was incredibly kind and helpful. I usually get a little anxious at the dentist, and she took the time to explain everything as she went along, which really helped me relax. I ended up needing a few cavities filled, and Dr. Kelly was fantastic—so friendly, precise, and quick! Theresa, who assisted during my fillings, was also so sweet and personable; she truly helped calm my nerves. Everyone I interacted with was professional, informative, and genuinely caring. I’m so grateful to have found this place—highly recommend Pittsburgh Dental Spa to anyone looking for an amazing dental experience!

Dr Shannon Cerra is an absolutely amazing dentist and I can’t recommend her enough. I am petrified of the dentist but Dr Cerra is kind, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable and put my fears at ease. She makes sure all of my dental work is pain free and anxiety free. She listens to my fears and concerns and works with me to develop a plan. By working with my anxiety, I was able to handle multiple, necessary, root canals in one appointment. This is huge progress for someone scared to get a cleaning but I was able to handle the procedure and had zero pain during or after the appointment. She even calls after procedures to make sure I’m doing ok which is a rarity in this line of medicine but it shows she really cares about her patients. I saw Dr Cerra at a previous practice for years but when she left I went to a few other dentists and had horrible experiences that just increased my fear of the dentist. After one to many bad experiences, I was determined to find where she was practicing and I found her at Pittsburgh Dental Spa. I now drive over 1 hr to see her and it is absolutely worth it. She has worked with me to gradually decrease my anxiety from requiring full sedation dentistry with medication for cleanings and procedures to being able to tolerate dental work with mild sedation or just music. I can actually now walk into the dentist office without shaking in fear. The practice is also wonderful. The staff is very friendly and kind. They truly care about their patients and their comfort. The practice atmosphere is very soothing which helps take away fears. Though it is a "spa" their prices are comparable to other practices. If you are petrified of the dentist, I highly recommend you give Dr Cerra and Pittsburgh Dental Spa a call.

Fantastic experience! As someone who has avoided the dentist for decades, the staff and Dr Kelly were wonderful, with no judgement. All my dental work was done quickly and efficiently - sedation is the best. I’m not nearly as anxious about seeing the dentist anymore.
