Pico Rivera Dental Smiles

For the first time since I’ve been going to Dental Clinics, I found one that is different, in a fantastic way. Aside from being highly professional, the people at this Clinic are also very nice and friendly. They have several stations so that patients don’t have to wait until one patient has been fully treated. Even the Dental X-rays that I detest was done quickly and easily, no painful mouth because of the bite blocks. If you are living in Southeast LA or surroundings, this place is highly recommended.

Dr. Shah is a fantastic dentist. She’s kind, patient, and always takes the time to explain things clearly. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and wants them to feel comfortable and well informed at every visit. If you’re looking for a dental office where you feel valued and well taken care of from start to finish, this is the place to go.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like people need to know what kind of experience I had with this dental office. From the start, I was being charged random out-of-pocket amounts at each visit, with no clear explanation. Every time I asked why, I was just told, "your insurance doesn’t cover everything," but no one would break down what that actually meant. It didn’t feel right, so I contacted my insurance directly — and I’m so glad I did. My insurance looked into it and confirmed that the dental office wasn’t billing things properly. In fact, they were supposed to cover several of the services I had already paid for. What made it worse was when both I and my insurance tried to contact the office to resolve it — they literally hung up on both of us. No apology, no willingness to explain anything — just complete disregard. As a single parent, I was already struggling to afford care for both myself and my daughter. I even explained that to them, hoping they might help or at least show some compassion. Instead, I ended up paying out-of-pocket for services that should have been covered, while they avoided accountability and refused to even have a proper conversation about it. I’ve never felt so disrespected by a healthcare provider. If you have insurance, double-check every charge. Ask for itemized statements. And if something feels off — trust your gut and get a second opinion.

Amazing experience at Pico Rivera Dental Smiles. The Doctors and Staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable . They explain the treatment in terms you can easily understand. I enjoyed my experience at the Dental office. Adriana was very helpful explaining the process and kind. Doctor Shah was also very helpful. The whole staff was very nice and informative and professional. I would definitely be coming back for future appointments

I have a scheduled appointment at 9am today. Arrive promptly to my appointment only to find the building closed. Double checked my calendar and msg received, apt is at 9am but no staff on site, at either locations btw. I called and left a msg, still here 15 min past 9am and no staff. Not sure if it's a holiday or what? But I never received any notification that my appt was rescheduled or canceled. Disappointed with lack of communication 😕

Took my 13 year old son Beautiful office! Strongly suggest Doctor Carlos Mendoza was amazing And really helped us out! Staff are very nice Cant go wrong here
