H2 Dental Associates

Do you dread going to the dentist? I did, till I started going to H2 Dental in Pico Rivera, CA. DR Shah is very good. I love his hands. I can’t explain it, but he’s so gentle as he works on your teeth, it’s amazing that I can actually relax as my teeth are being worked on. No dread! Excellent staffing 👏.

My opinion about this office has completely changed after my initial experience. I am pleased to have chosen them to care for my dental needs. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, knowledgeable and informative. I especially appreciate the carefulness, kindness and patience they had with my son. Thank you to the Dr's and staff for taking care of us!!

This review is mainly in regards to a first-time potential dental patient arriving and wasn't sure if this was even the correct building to begin with as there's no address (pictured in here is an address number facing Rosemead side but those palm trees are now covering those numbers). Upon entering the building, there was no directory and no way of telling where to go. There was a gentleman who advised I "not use the elevator as it's known to not work!" All just seemed really odd and not a good feeling about the place. I thought this could possibly be a makeshift apartment building and not quite a building of offices?!? It just doesn't didn't sit right with me. So I left based on the shadiness of the whole experience. This review is not based on the dental service it's mainly the appearance of their shared office building and location as this was an odd experience! Not at all a professional vibe.

I can't say enough positive remarks about the entire staff at H2 Dental Associates. Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistants and techs to the doctors are absolutely wonderful and have made my visits not just routine but something I can honestly say I look forward to. They are super friendly, caring, and helpful beyond what you would expect from a dental office. They are always upbeat and sincerely happy to see me. Erica at the front desk is so nice and helpful. She is a big reason that I continue to go there. The dental assistants and techs are also so kind, comforting, and communicative with me each time I visit. Whether it's a teeth cleaning, filling, or a root canal I can count on Vicki, Christina, and Adriana to keep me at ease during what is usually a very stressful event for most people. I have worked with Dr. Martha and Dr. Do (for an implant) and they are also very nice and professional. But I must say that Dr. Ko has predominantly worked on my teeth over the course of the last couple of years and she is, by far, my favorite dentist. She is patient, thoughtful, gentle, and consultative. She does a fantastic job and really cares about the quality of her work and her patient's comfort. I can honestly say that I have no stress going to the dentist. I can almost equate it to going to the spa for my mouth. My only regret about writing this review is that it's probably not doing enough justice to the outstanding work this office does in making their patients feel cared for and appreciated. Very informative staff. I came here for my cavity to be filled and was not disappointed. I also brought my son here for a second opinion. Glad I came as the other orthodontist where he usually goes was completely wrong. Staff is friendly and the place is clean and up on tech.

This place was once owned by a very good dentist by the name of Dr. Stegilvick. For over 20 years I went to his office, I also had family members go to the same doctor. Like all things everyone needs to retire, and Dr. Stegilvick retired, then sold this business to H2 Dental Associates. I'm sorry, but there is no personal attention and I do believe they are trying to upsell people into oral Dentistry and services, that is unneeded at times. It's a shame that things have to change, but I will not be returning to H2 Dental Associates, after going there for almost 2 years. The whole staff was supposed to remain, and basically only one that I know of remained. Do your homework, and find a dentist that fits your needs. My personal opinion is H2 Dental Associates, is more interested in the money, then the service.
