Dr. Vic, who works out of both the center city and Bryn mawr offices is a true gem. Excellent bedside manner, sings while she works, is funny, a mom, and an expert. She is also a perfectionist! Dr. Vic did a perfect job with replacing two existing veneers, and installing 2 additional. I’d say (and so would everyone else in my life) that you could NEVER detect that they were veneers. I am so lucky to have met Dr. Vic, and I am extremely happy with my new smile! She’s just the best!!!!!!

Dr. Kay is a careful, highly competent and thorough dentist. He is responsive to pain and takes real pride in what he is doing. The staff is similarly competent and professional. Being in a dentist׳s chair is not my idea pf a holiday, but if you have to be there, this is the place to be.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Kay and his staff for the exceptional care they have given me over the past three years. I interviewed twelve prosthodontists prior to talking to Dr. Kay, and each one was hesitant and uncertain about the outcome of my case, as it was very extensive and had great potential for failure. But, Dr. Kay was confident and assured me that everything would be fine, and boy, was he right! He stood by me every step of the way. Every visit was productive the and pain-free, as Dr. Kay worked patiently towards our goal. The staff is always so friendly and can help with any procedure when necessary; creating continuity on your work. I cannot recommend this practice enough. Dr. Kay’s work is exceptional and his staff is top notch. I actually love my visits to office. My teeth look fabulous and my mouth feels wonderful! You will not find a better practice to perform the work you need on your teeth. Trust me, I’ve done the research and I know without a doubt, that you will love your experience with this practice, they’re the BEST!’

I went to The Dental Spa to get a second opinion on whether or not I actually needed a costly (and painful) procedure pushed by another practice. I asked a friend for a recommendation, which is how I got to Dr. Kay. My experience beginning to end with everyone at The Dental Spa was A+++. My entire life I’ve had good teeth that I take care of very contentiously, but I had a 2 year lapse in regular cleanings. When my prior dentist was telling me I had signs of periodontal disease and needed scaling and planing right away, I was skeptical. Dr. Kay was very straightforward, examined my teeth and xrays, and confirmed that my teeth, bone and gums are in very good condition, especially for someone of my age, which is to say, not young! No signs of gingivitis or periodontal disease. He recommended I continue with 2x year cleanings, and consider getting fitted for a night guard. (I clench at night.) He patiently and honestly answered other questions I had, and the staff at the practice were very kind and accommodating in providing additional information. I will be going back in a few months for my regular cleaning, and look forward to sticking with The Dental Spa for my oral hygiene needs.

Over the last few months, I’ve had the best experience with Dr. Kay and his entire staff! He replaced an implant crown that has bothered me aesthetically for years and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He’s very attentive and meticulous with his work & results. Rosemary at the front desk is so kind, and Danielle + the rest of the staff I’ve interacted with have been phenomenal as well!!

Recommended by primary dentist. Nice space and relieved that they had gas. However, we left the office and within 20 minutes our son realized that his bottom front teeth were hitting his new crown when he bit down. Why didn't they check well enough? He's 11. We had to return to the office so he could eat without pain. When we returned within an hour - I appreciate the immediate accommodation - they not only shaved down the temp. crown - good! - but they shaved down his front, permanent (adult!) bottom teeth. Now... he's experiencing tooth sensitivity. It's not about professionalism, rather quality of care. Customer service is solid, but if we have issues with performance twice in one day for dental surgery... that is deeply disappointing. I'm very unhappy. We can't get his bone back. UPDATE: Dr. Kay reached out this morning and addressed this post. We had the conversation that we should have had.

I have been seeing Dr. Kay for 9 years and as usual, my visit today was excellent! Everyone who works at The Dental Spa is very attentive and friendly and Dr. Kay is the ultimate professional! I always leave the office feeling well cared for.
