The Peoria office is a fly by night operation. I had a new crown that didn't even last one month before it fell out. So, my new crown was to be done at no cost. After the office called and cancelled my appointments 4 straight times, I had another tooth that was chipped and needed a small filling, but due to 4 straight cancelling appointments on Aspens behalf that chipped tooth now needs a crown. Plus at my appointment today, the new dentist wasn't to happy about replacing my one crown at no cost and she made that very apparent. No chair side manners at all! I signed legal disclosures months ago on my one crown being replaced at no cost! All new doctors and office staff almost on a monthly occurrence at Peoria office. Once this future work is done, I will never go back. No professionalism at all and a high turnover rate with all personnel!! Beware!!!
Literally the worst dentist office ever. 4 separate appointments for a crown. When I called and scheduled the appointment for my wife I specifically told them it was for a crown placement. They said ok. Got to the appointment, is it for a crown? No it's for a consultation and evaluation. We have to schedule a separate appointment for the crown because they have to do a mold. Do that. Gets done. Third appointment for the placement of the permanent crown. It took 4 hours to do this?? The dentist was new and had no idea what she was doing. This all was in August. Got a call recently about them having the crown delivered. I told them my wife already had the crown placed, like this took 4 hours. "No she has a temporary crown, it took that long due to the mold they had to do" I honestly couldn't remember and neither could my wife so we schedule it. She went to her appointment today where they spent 20 minutes trying to remove the crown. Turns out IT WAS THE PERMEANT CROWN, like we originally thought. They did an X-ray to confirm it. They also charged our insurance for a cleaning they did not do.
ASHLEY was AMAZING & really took to heart my dental care & needs! The entire staff were professional courteous & very knowledgeable! ASHLEY is always smiling & very friendly with EVERY visit! Even though I I had several questions ASHLEY was patient, kind & professional throughout my time there today!
I was very grateful that they accepted walk ins, Lord knows I am so grateful. Their examinations were thorough and staff were friendly. But then, I went to pick up my medication from the CVS pharmacy that the staff said she sent it to, she even wrote the address of the place, my name was not there. I called back to Aspens and was told the said staff that took care of sending the medication over was with another patient and she would call me back. I am still waiting for that call back. The sad part of this is that I have already paid for additional services and needs to return to Aspens to complete the service, if not they would have been history. I think it is so unprofessional to waste people time like that. As if my time is not important. I was on sick leave for the day when I transacted business with them and was trying to complete all that needs to be done on the same day. Now I have to maneuver around getting back to the pharmacy for my prescription as I’m now back at work.
I'm pretty dentist-phobic in general. Not a reflection of a bad experience, just an extreme fear. Anyway, I had a broken molar that needed to be removed. I was a little surprised that patients have to pay in full before making an appointment with an oral surgeon. I do suppose though that last minute cancellations and no-shows can be pretty costly to the business, so it's not an unreasonable ask. The day of the removal I wasn't in the waiting room for long, and the procedure was virtually pain free. It was also convenient that I was able to get a weekend appointment for no additional cost. I have more dental work that I plan to have done and I'd say that Aspen is where I'll be continuing to go.
I recently had the need to use Aspen Dental for an adjustment to my partial denture. What a pleasant experience. Ashley was such a pleasant and helpful person as see guided me through the entire process. While there, a couple other issues were discovered and needed to be addressed. Savannah was helpful in explaining the work needed , the cost and the timeline. I left fully confident I understood what was to transpire.
I wouldn’t even give this place one star. I went here with my husband and he asked if it was okay for me to go back with him to get his tooth pulled and they said it was fine. The dentist came in and made snotty comments about my husband asking me about his medicine names that he couldn’t remember. She said "I wasn’t aware that your wife was a doctor " very sarcastic. We found out that we needed a second appointment to get the tooth pulled so we made one for later in the day. When we came back we again asked if it was okay for me to go back and they said fine no problem. The dentist came in the room and said "I guess you couldn’t wait out front ". She then told us that she couldn’t pull his tooth without a medical clearance. We went to the first appointment at 9:30 in the morning and the second one at 2 in the afternoon and no one could call us and tell us this so that we could have gotten it during this time? I felt that the way she acted towards me was uncalled for and racist and we will never go back there or anyone that we know.
