Dentists of Pasadena on Lake

I can’t recommend this dental office enough! I’ve been coming here since 2022, and they always make me feel welcome. Whether it’s a simple cleaning or a more intensive surgery like getting my wisdom teeth out, I know I’m in good hands. The front desk staff is wonderful, and Dr. Alex is genuinely one of the kindest doctors I’ve met. Thanks for the amazing care over the years!

Willow is the most friendly and welcoming assistant I have ever had in this office. All the assistance are wonderful, but she makes me feel so comfortable. She always takes time to explain things to me and she’s so gentle and sweet and she is a big asset in your team

I don't reccomend this office. You will spend over an hour at the dentist for a cleaning and check up. The staff and dentists are nice, but they seriously need to work on their scheduling and appointment management. I've come multiple times for my 6 month checkup and I always forget that every time it takes a ridiculous amount of time. Today was over an hour and a half just for a 10 min cleaning.

This is my first time at Dentist of Pasadena on Lake, it’s the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. Everyone at Dentist of Pasadena is so nice, friendly and professional. The office is beautiful and inviting. Dr. Martin Galstyan is the best, so kind, gentle, professional and helpful. I absolutely love it here. I recommend Dentist of Pasadena on Lake and Dr. Galstyan highly, they are the best.

TLDR: Bad dentists with even worse scheduling and front desk reception. TWICE this has happened. The office REFUSES to honor appointment times. I had a 1pm appointment the first time and 1:30 this time. The first appointment I sat in the lobby until 2, then was called back and sat in my chair for another 30 mins, and then finally saw the dentist for MAYBE 10 minutes. Today I pull up for my 1:30, and at 2:05 I am STILL waiting to even be called back. I cancelled and left. Awful service. Even when you are able to see the dentist they are so bad. The barely even look at your teeth. The assistant does EVERYTHING. Overall, would never recommend coming here. Would rather have my teeth rot before I do.

Worst experience I ever had at dental office in US. I’m extremely unhappy with my experience at this office. The entire visit felt misleading and honestly disrespectful of my time and consent. From the start, no one clearly explained what was covered by insurance versus what would be out-of-pocket. I was pressured into a "deep cleaning" that I did not come in for and did not believe I needed — I get regular cleanings every year at other offices and have never been told I needed deep cleaning. On top of that, a 3D/CBCT-style X-ray and an antibacterial treatment were performed without clear, upfront consent or a clear explanation that these may not be covered. The antibacterial treatment was done with a device that looked more like a home device than professional equipment, and it was not explained in a serious, professional way. The appointment took about 4 hours, which is absolutely insane for what should have been a straightforward dental visit. I left feeling pressured, confused, and taken advantage of. I followed up afterward for clarification and received no response. Based on the lack of transparency, the unnecessary pressure, and the way services were handled, I do not recommend this office.

I don’t normally write reviews but the experience here is not professional. You’re waiting and waiting only for the Dentist to talk to you for a couple minutes and end up with a bunch of work that supposedly needs to be done. You hear the workers joking around but no one seems to be working in this office. Then the dental nurse comes in and cleans your teeth for 3 minutes and leaves. If you don’t want to start any of the stuff they discussed with you, they rush and kick you out. The office looks very inviting but the staff show me otherwise.
